Nothing about that is surprising. It's baffling how little critical thinking appears to happen when it comes to these games. We spend billions each year on something called marketing. Now in marketing one of the core demographics when advertising a product is the s&x of your audience. This is quite literally down to a science. Men and women have different interests and products are generally tailored to appeal to both. So the question is, who is this being marketed to? I've never played a Naughty Dog game before I'm a potential customer looking at this product and there's nothing here that appeals to me. So no, the reaction isn't surprising at all. It's bordering on common sense. Who is your audience. Now perhaps the studio is courting a new audience, which appears to be the trend. I'm assuming the response so far has been from their old audience. I guess in time we'll see how many, new or old show up to purchase this product. Sadly I won't be one of them and I actually watched Akira and Cowboy Bebop, which was supposed to make me interested in this. It didn't
