Hi, very effective tool with good programming done. Can you tell me the code which you used for 'command button - Add' so that automatic information was filled in the table above? I think you did it with help VBA Userform, but then write the code to connect it with Catia inputs. Thanks.

How to learn catia v5 Macros programming fully
@TripleEngineerElyesMrabet3 ай бұрын
If possible, participate in training directly with a trainer who you can ask questions to check your understanding and who gives you the shortest path to complete by yourself, like learning to drive a car. If not I suggest to start learning by recording macros as a 1st step. Then explore CATIA Automation documentation and try to develop your recorded macros, by adding more features and removing repetition. Experiment with as many methods and properties as you can. Use small tests to learn. Then start to explore VBA documentation and use its keywords to loop and check conditions, solve errors and so on. Learn while practising. My advice is to focus on the documentation. Keep the internet and chatgpt as your last resort.

This approach is considering the size tolerance as the tolerance contributors in the stack-up, lack of the deviation contribution of the geometric tolerance.
@TripleEngineerElyesMrabet4 ай бұрын
I suppose it works for geometric tolerances too. All you need is to find/create a parameter representing that geometric tolerance and has an effect on the gap. If that parameter increases the gap when increased then put it in the first list, if it's the opposite then put it in the second list. Then watch, in 3D, how the gap changes when you put those parameters at max/min tolerances.

Ismail Al-Jazari, one of the greatest Kurdish minds of his time, he also made humanoid robots 800 years ago in the golden age of Islam! However its so sad to see the lack of knowledge regarding his works and The Book of Knowledge of Ingenious Mechanical Devices that he wrote 1206 A.D. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ismail_al-Jazari

Well knowledge was power, why do you think the library of Alexandria got burned down so many times. Hell even in most wars leading to the modern day libraries remained a hot target. I have seen some of the more recent rediscovery of things built in the middle east, I wish they could find more. They are interesting and it is fun to compare them to what other cultures came up with.

For Ukraine: Make videos to help them rebuild, create a list of videos made by others for survival (giving credit), remember Archimedes' 6 simple engines and 30 complex engines, how to build a Roman road (they're going to have to do a lot of road re-building), etc., etc.

@Ankianki332 жыл бұрын
@@TripleEngineerElyesMrabet Although your idea is very cool this machine would not be use ful during times of war. First of all why would some one need a pump during times of war? Second if they do need a pump it would be more efficient to buy a pump than to make this.

@TripleEngineerElyesMrabet2 жыл бұрын
Yes, like other mechanical systems in that era. Aljazari died in 1206.. More friction just means more power needed and the rivers provide power more than needed.
