i truly dont understand why the risks are worth it for birthing your own kid. adoption is just better because youre saving a child from possibly a horrible life in the terrible adoption/foster system. this is just selfish

She explained it in the video. She wants a bond with the child, and that is something that starts in the womb, from conception to the birth, all the hardship and pains included. I do get it, adoption may be better, but this is what she wants. She has the means to do it, she may even know herself enough to predict that she won't have as deep of a bond with an adopted child, so she's chasing her dreams of being a mother, exactly the way she wanted to.

No, a uterus is just an organ used for carrying the a fetus, it has nothing to do with the baby's genetic makeup. The ovaries are where the eggs come from, and she already has those

Amazing that it's being spoken of now! The first problem encountered with this surgery is finding out that they will never be satisfied sexually, once the sensual area is removed...neither as male nor female! The second is having to continue depending on "blockers". The bodies natural hormones are necessary, and prevent weakening of bones, and cancer! 🌹

It seems to be very common for fathers to be the ones who forget. Couldn’t possibly be because they expect mom to take on 98% of the child right? In situations of not being the usual one for daycare drop off/pick up, means both parents are working. Why’s mom the one always having to do it? In this scenario, a little surprised that mom didn’t check in on how drop off went. I constantly call my husband to check on if everything went okay with the kids within a 30 minute window.

You shouldn't have to constantly check in though. You should just be able to leave them with their father and expect he knows exactly what to do, the same as you do. If my husband needs me, he calls.

Unfortunately it’s somewhat common with first time parents, not always to this degree but when you have a new life that needs constant care… you become forgetful running on so little sleep/rest.

How devastating. I felt bad enough forgetting my daughter in the car for ten minutes after we got back from shopping and brought everything in and she wnded up being fine. The guilt that the child died must be immense.
