Ps: when i was. Studying law we had an instructor who was a completely blind barrister and he was amazing! When i was a civil servant i met a visiting computer programmer who was completely blind .. i have no idea how he did it. Programming is hard even for the sited. You get one syntax wrong and the whole programme fails And then in the UK we had a Home Secretary who was completely blind …. So for all who are in a dilemma knowing what to do, know everything is possible. But at the same time do not give yourself a hard time for not being awesome! We are all awesome in our own way and do not measure yourself against someone elses standards.

Hey every now and then you come across a channel and you wonder why the heck i never new of this before. Your channel gave me that very same feeling. You’re an awesome content creator. You’re a poet, do you know it? How you put in phrases like ‘if you like it i love it’. Or … see eye to eye etc. I’m so jealous. I wish i had that gift of the gab! :) Anyway, i loved your video but was amazed how the. things you list are the thigns i would never think of and the things you. Warned against are the things i am into. I am 51 years old and live in the UK. I have a degenerative eye disorder and am blind. They first thought i had RP, but apparently i have a form of battens disease. Very rare. So i was a civil servant when i started losing my sight. I was a ‘transcription manager’ and continued to do that as i lost my site. So i had to manage a team of 20 individuals who were to do quality checks on text transcribed from handwritten very old manuscript. I now wonder how the hell i did that. But i was good enough to get promoted. But i was tired of working for the government and wanted to learn a skill …. So i decided to become a lawyer. I did a ‘GDL’ or graduate diploma for law. But then i thought, if i continue studying law, i will not be able to have a job as this will be really demanding, so i need to have a means of income so that i can still support my family. I started my own eCommerce business but then loved it so much that i decided to do this instead of law and i gave my up government job for it. Then i went on to have a marketing agency for my own and we help other brands online. So everything i do is on the computer :) Now i have my own KZbin channel. Actually i have two. There are some awesome individuals leaving comments here. Guys if there is anything i can do to help or provide mentoring, visit my channel where you can get my email address. Get in touch. Now excuse me as i go binge watch Alisha’s videos.

Oh thank you for talking about tthe frustration and all the other feelings that go on with worsending vision loss. Finally some one talks about it!! I'm 79 and used to be super independent. I think the loss of driving my own car is the biggest one. I have AMD and that business of waking up to worse eyesight is a reach punch in the gut. I honesty still would have been working but I'm a bookkeeper. Was. I'm grateful to you for being a voicce in this wilderness of "Why are you depressed? Can't you do this, can't you do that..." Thank you.

I use 'moisture chamber's sunglasses because I have 'Dry eye'. A moulded (removable) spongy fabric that blocks breeze and air conditioning flow and also helps with glare. They are a standard frame so look cool too! 😎 The Wiley X brand also has these frames available with clear lenses.

I like your videos when you are living regular lifestyle not the ones where you all over the place especially when it . . . We know you have a life but that’s not why we follow you. I just click through the videos lately they don’t seem authentic

I have stargadts and I’ve had SUCH a hard time finding a job where I feel I fit in. And also finding job that’s willing to accommodate for me and let me take time to do things. I feel lots of jobs are very fast paced and it’s very hard for me who needs more time to do things. This video helped me so much and find new ideas!
