Saw him play at Brixton Academy on his Come in and Burn Tour...he did an on fire Phil Lynot cover of Rocker as an Encore...he seemed a huge charismatic iconic guy on stage,i saw him enter the side entrance as i queued ..ironically i was the only guy that noticed him,barely 5'9" in a hoodie and so humble looking...i felt like saying "its ok Henry your secret is safe with me man ill not reveal your true identity 😂 i love this guy his music and attitude inspired me when i needed it most thanks Henry ❤❤

I believe that’s why he speaks to so many people, myself included. a lot of folks get so down in life they get into drugs, or sex or other Vice or bad behavior. Henry, to me anyways, shows you can be all of those troubled things in life, and not go into drugs or vice and still come out on top. That if you’re a person who CANT deal with your own past, these are some steps to take to just live as close as you can to normal, by your own terms. And that instead of feeling like trash that you can’t relate to people, or that you don’t have family, etc- there’s still strength there, you don’t have to be some loner who just watches crime shows and hides from the world.

He still is. He just got really good at masking for a long time. His book, Sic, from 2022 is the most depressing and solitary piece of work he’s put out. About 1/4 of the book is about Joe and how he deals with it to this day.

@@yoshewab1639 I haven’t read that but I can imagine. He does certainly seems less openly hostile and angry and a bit more compassionate in the interviews I’ve seen and heard in the last decade or so. I’d imagine that’s just a byproduct of getting older. I don’t know Henry and I don’t think I want to either but he seems to have turned his existence into a bit of a prison of his own making that no one can get into and he can’t get out of. No family, no friends. Doesn’t seem like a lot of fun.

❤ Amo esta canción, pero en 2008 por casualidad descargue en mi Ipod una version que en lugar de ser con trompeta, era con un saxofón el solo, después de unos meces se descompuso mi Ipod y no pude recuperar o volver a encontrar esa versión, llevo mas de 7 años buscandola y no la encuentro, si por favor alguien sabe donde la puedo encontrar, les agradecería me compartieran la información 🙏, les aseguro que si esta versión les gusta, con saxofón sera un extasis musical, me lamento muchísimo que mi Ipod se haya descompuesto y la haya perdido.
