I have had in home supportive services given to me by my son. He was asked to attend an orientation for 2 hours and get fingerprints. On September 1st I got a 21 got a new 9ne that I don't want to lose. She went to orientation and they said she had to watch free videos take tests and that she won't get paid till December. She can not go without money and she is going find another job,she is going to quit being my provider so she can find another job on this coming Tuesday. I want her to go so please help me out with my dilemma.

@Nancy-il9lx 0 seconds ago Hi. My father had an IHSS reassessment on 6/17/2024. His hours were increased and his notice of action was received on 7/24/2024 with a notice date of 7/19/2024. It shows on the Notice of Action an effective date for the increase of services is 8/01/2024. My question is, shouldn't his increase in services be effective back to the date of the reassessment which was 06/17/2024?

AT WHAT AGE U CAN qualify FOR IHSS WITH DIAGNOSIS of moderate to SEVERE AUTISM. I took my son to REGIONAL CENTER after 5 years OF AGE. REGIONAL CENTER recommend at 3 years old....i doesn't know REGIONAL CENTER can HELP WITH these services aba,speech,etc... All these times, we use our private insurance. So if your kid, has dx of AUTISM at 3 yrs old,u can APPLY FOR IHSS????

APPLY now get all his medical records the Reginol if he goes to school get his iep any that show he’s Has autism even call your insurance and ask ask them can my son get ABA speech therapy apply for acc device that’s the iPad apply for everything but yes apply call IHSS The sad part is when my son was diagnosed with autism by the regional that’s it. They don’t tell you nothing. They don’t tell you all you need this. You need that nothing and it sucks you know because you’re trying to help your son or daughter and nobody gives you any clue or anything like hey they need this. They need that or will give you this information but if you need any info, you can just write back and I can help you

I'm all about inclusion.. however whoever is best suited for the job regardless of what they are is going to be who is hired... Whether they're disabled or not doesn't make a difference to me if they can do the job they're hired... But to set parameters to make sure you have so many disabled people or so many women ratio wise is a terrible way to be efficient and cost-effective when running a business... But hey if it works for you then who cares what I think hahaha

Jenny was so determined to work in a bakery, she went without telling anyone and applied on her own. She said she would only accept a position if it was in the bakery, and they hired her. I have never seen anyone enjoy their work more than Jenny. Congratulations Jenny! You are so much stronger than you realize.
