Hang in there, it can be slow at first with the smaller, more fragile mechs, but in future episodes, you'll see me having some fun in a Locust, and more missions in the Jenner. While they shine most in a co-op group, you can't help but love their simplicity of just all lasers, scalping apart a mech in the flank or rear :D

I'm glad you're enjoying the game, sadly I did eventually drop off from doing videos of BFG a while ago, primarily due to bugs that really affected my enjoyment of the game :( But I am trying to find something to focus my video content on currently for video content currently.

I don't honestly recall the difficulty, I'm going to assume it's on the base normal difficulty as the main inspiration for playing terraria is my co-host schythe hasn't ever got to the point of seeing the final bosses. So hopefully we'll be able to fulfill that wish :) Edit: as for the next episode I'll be aiming to have it out every Tuesday ideally, as we've recorder this series a few months in advance, and we're not quite done with the series yet...especially when a certain survival game that's all the hype now has got everyone's attention lol

they teased an aeldari campaign as possible dlc after the chaos one came out, but for some reason, support for the game ended shortly after that campaign came out :( Whether is was the publishers stopping support for BFG or something else I couldn't tell you.

Sadly that lerk clouds (there's two of them) require a tech upgrade from the commander to unlock them. So until you have basically two upgraded hives and the research to unlock them, you only got the poisonous bite, and harassing needles for the first half of the game.

I agree, I was not a fan of the chaos frigates either outside of the essential scout role they play, but there are some fleet compositions that rely exclusively on mass frigates to take advantage of some of the upgrades unique to chaos. Main upgrade I can recall is when your shields recharge, all nearby enemy ships take morale damage, which I've seen one opponent deliberately use a disruption bomb on their own frigates to combo into massive morale damage, and when you have 12-16ish frigates that is a lot of morale issues at the you have to deal with at the start of the fight.

Yeah that’s the point of the Dark age of Technology. They are better in every single way than the Imperium

Without a doubt having the right workshop mods help a ton, as in our 2nd or 3rd game we used an auto placement system for the terrain, and even that board has an auto sorting system for when you're rolling dice, which alas we didn't use in this first game. Although I can't remember the workshop mod's name off the top of my head, I'll see if I can hunt that down for you later today if you're curious about it

Sadly I can't help you with the auto scoring but the workshop mod we use for playing our games is simple Warhammer 40k 10e Table: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2990335830&searchtext=Warhammer+40k+10e+Table To set up the table first set up a board you want and lock it onto the board by right clicking it and finding the option to lock it in the toggles tab. then when you hit the place button by the quick table button you can select one of the preset building placements and hit the "Place" button for it. It will rapidly load all the terrain at once so there'll be a lag spike, but that should help you there, and it includes a dice rolling system to quickly add dice, removing them, and sorting based on their results. I noticed that at the end of the battle, as my recording overlay was conveniently blocking over that icon for me, which tracks how long the videos been going, the bit and frame rates, etc. I'll have to see about moving it for the next video

With how old BFGA 2 is and the fact it hasn't really gotten any updates or DLC for a long awhile there may not be any further guides or videos about it alas, outside of looking at the mods for the game community maybe. But I'm glad the videos have been helpful for you.
