3:55 I just can't get over how brutally they kick into final gear after this breakdown. Jesus christ it drops so damn hard. EDIT: put this on at a party at the right moment recently and several people went "holy sh*t" while dancing to that final part. they didn't even realize that it was a live recording. i consider this the ultimative proof that vulfpeck is for everyone, they just don't know it yet

I'm just not sure what to say. I was originally learning teen town on bass. Typed that in, then saw a cover of dean town and I said wtf is that. Then I clicked and saw a guy running a crowd at msg on bass playing a jaco type of groove but with a Francis Rocco Prestia what is hip 16th groove. Then I clicked this video and listen to what sounds like a somewhat studio funky jam that really doesn't go anywhere yet there is a massive crowd all into it and the frontman looks like he is from a funk version of Weezer and a nerd lovers dorky dream. I just really don't know what to make of this. 2023 is weirder by the day I guess. It's cool to see a band can still pack MSG so there is hope there . Also, said band is even kinda doing a funky thing. I am confused at this point. Every bassist in the comments said Dean Town is super hard. Gonna learn to play it now and see if the groove inspires me to listen to more Vulf. Let's see.
