I play both..pickleball is fast food dopamine fix… it is nice socially and very accessible to others.. it may even be good introduction into tennis for young kids… but pickleball is no way close to the game of tennis. Tennis requires much more athleticism and movement on court.. it allows for more strategy and mental toughness and grit.. pickleball game is over in a flash.

Tennis tournament organizers simply paying famous people (who don’t even play) to attend tennis matches isn’t going to cut it. The idea is both obnoxious and absurd-just imagine the marketing teams sitting around and pitching such a ridiculous concept.

Pickleball has taken over in Australia.. My club has converted all their courts with an overlay of a PB courts.. The tennis centre makes more money cos they hire more courts.. I've become a fan actually..

It was an excellent update on the Italian Tennis Federation. Quite different than associations in how they operate and how they function. The former, is in fact, a ministerial post of the government with strict enforcement of certification requirements for its coaches. It is also egalitarian in its support of players and coaches. It contributes to varying games styles. Nothing remotely comparable to that approach exists in countries overseen by associations. It is a classic example of socialism versus capitalism. Aviation and Tennis are two areas in plan sight for everyone to evaluate.

Sinner is by far the best in 2024 bottom line. His fans keep saying Sinner is a hard court player while Carlos is clay and grass but 2025 all this will change Sinner will show he’s best on all surface but you will have to wait and see. The 2024 season has just completed with Sinner as the overwhelming winner. I predict that he’s the guy to beat on all surfaces 2025. Sinner has all that a true tennis champion needs, everybody speaks about techniques and skills and they’re very important but this’s what Sinner has, skills, techniques, consistency, calmness, steal mind, and he has no defensive shots only attacking.

Depression and other mental health issues is very common amongst kids whose parents robbed them of a childhood for a sport. We saw this with Tiger Woods, Jennifer Capriati, Serena Williams, and Michael Phelps.

This is child abuse. You can’t decide their future in advance, force them to do it all day instead of attending school, deny them friends and childhood. This is so sad :(

I live in a relatively small town, and what's been really frustrating is that some of our tennis courts have been replaced into pickleball courts. I have to drive an hour to go to a club in the city so local courts are a must have for me. Pickleball is so irritating and boring to me, and it leaves people taking up the courts where I live. I understand that I'm really salty about this, but to me it's a massive problem.

The one thing Jannik lacks is an awareness of Human Rights and of those whose bread is certainly not buttered on both sides!! I sincerely hope that this penetrates his awareness soon; How anyone can take part in a Tournament in such a nefarious country as Saudi i do not know . . . With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility' as Gandalf said. It is not easy to be aware when blinded by all those wanting Jannik to advertise this or that, many glistening awards etc No criticism here, we all have our own path to walk :) By the way, his name is pronounced Zinner (it's German!), NOT Sinner!! It roughly means 'one who has meaning or sense" - he certainly is no 'sinner' 😄
