as a child I remember being woken up by my older sister. She had seen him and touched his hand. She woke me to tell me about it. I have never forgotten how excited she was that was in the 60s. She was 7 years older than me. I grew up listening to him and I still love his music now

See of my folks didn't have such shit hot taste in music I wouldn't be such an older man's cup of tea ! My plight in life what can I say the only arguing point we DON'T HAVE is their taste in music is inarguably awesome and I grew up being BOMBARDED at least they were happy ! Our Lass X

Great Bacharach & David song. What is overlooked, is that the song title isn't mentioned until about 26 seconds in the song.

I just turned 76 in June. They just do not make singers like this anymore. I miss those teen years.

I seen this when it aired on the Letterman show and I was in love with her style and the sound, just beautiful. I bought the CD and played it a while. Stuff got rearranged in the house along with the sound system and I couldn't find it for years. I forgot the singers name and I would search on and off on the internet with key points I could remember about her and the song from the tv show with no luck. Then I just happened up on this video without looking for it! What a great voice.

I was hoping to see him sing live again once more in my lifetime, but tickets are 600-1200 USD in NY and alas I am in a Wheelchair. I’ll always have this song. The greatest singer ever.this song always brings me to tears
