Thanks, Man. You're lighting and framing... I bow. And don't even get me started on getting your interview-ee That comfortable in front of a camera. I am slowly working my way forward to doing what you're doing. Thanks for sharing your lessons with the rest of us. - Cathy (&, accidentally, Steve), Ottawa/Bytown

Those slow shots that sweeps across the various surfaces, in micro lens detail. Interspersed between the interviewee and the 'at-work' shots. Totally agree.

Awesome video as always! I've been looking for a new video from you, they're always informative. As a CNC machinist by day, and a woodworker in the evening, it's always interesting to see how other people "make". Thanks!

bits and especially spurs are animal abuse tools. I dont agree with this. it is a old, outdated peice of technology used to control horses using pain and harm. sure- there are soft hands and bits are debatable. but spurs are just metal spikes to jab into the horse. not something i want to support.

@@MJ-nb1qn I have indeed rode horses, i ride with no spurs and no bit- because i actually know how to instruct a horse without using pain. i actually know what im doing (: thanks.
@EamonnDoylePhotoFilm5 жыл бұрын
That’s not how spurs work and it pisses me off when people suggest it is. The intention of a western spur is to soften the horse to a gentle rolling pressure that gives far more deliberate instruction than legs alone. As far as bits, if you’re yanking your horses mouth to stop them then you’re riding incorrectly and your horse needs training. I start horses in a rope hackamore and then transition to a snaffle. If you think you’re riding out of the arena and your horse can’t and won’t ever bolt on you then you’ll have some issues. I won’t drive a car without a brake and a gas peddle. Won’t ride a horse without them either.

@@PeachPiePaige don't let the door hit you were the good lord split ya. And I don't mean your ass either. Haha. You puddin. Spurs nowadays run more less for look's and the bit's well that's something that will never die. Along with the spurs. It's some things like this that will never change. It will stay the way it was born and till the day we die with it and it keeps on living. Bits and spurs will always be used part of American history for many centuries to come. So sit back and deal with it. Its not killing the horses. If anything it's just to get their attention and don't hurt them at all. I bet your horses wipe your ass for you. My lord people these days are just big ol crybabies. Got to find something to cry about when we bigger issues to worry about. But let me guess your all for a cattle prog with some juice on it. I bet you don't think nothing about them cows do ya? Well I sure as hell don't bc it's not killing them. Idk if I've made my point or not to you. You probably one of them people that got they nose so far in the sky you cant even smell the good ol smell of country. I'm done with you. Great video! That's awesome work you do sir. I hope you keep it up till the day you can't pick up a file or engraver. You sir are making American history. That will live on forever. Thank you sir.

@@EamonnDoylePhotoFilm sounds like she has no clue how to break a horse or anything. But you on the other hand said it better than anyone. I may have been a little hard on her but it just twitches me off when someone has the image in their head that all spurs are pointy and hurt the horse. Lol like how I used twitch. Lol. Ok i got to get in the bed I'm getting slap happy. Have a good night sir.
