Does your transmission temp gauge work? I just replaced mine and the needle doesn't seem to move even after driving for a bit, but I'm not sure if I need to work it hard to get trans oil temp to come up. What is your experience regarding this?

I noticed your transmission temp gauge isn't reading. Mine wasn't either and I replaced it but I still don't get a reading after driving it around for a bit. Is it your experience the trans oil temp only goes up when working extremely hard? Appreciate any advice.

I run Deere C400s. Never had a problem with a head bearing going out but I also only keep them for 3 years at a time.

Either that 7810 isn’t running good or your 4440 is turned up a good bit. Every 7810 I’ve ran would definitely out run a 4440, now a 4640 would be a different story. The 8.1 L is a very good torque engine on the 7810, the 7800 ran the 7.6L like the 40 series did and it was good but the 8.1L was a different beast.

I was thinking the same thing always figured those things were a power house. My favorite tractor

7810 definitely has more horses then 4440
@TermiteBenny24 күн бұрын
@@bryankeator8396 the 4440 could be turned up a bit making it feel stronger, but I’m sure the 7810 could be turned up safely to 200hp on the dyno. We had one on the farm with the powershift, it was a very handy tractor. Usually ran out of weight before power especially on the 15’ no till drill planting rye grass. That thing full would push the tractor around on the hills. That 8.1L also had a great sound when opening the right wing window.

@@iowadairyboysFarms gonna need a computer to turn up that 7810. It could probably handle 200 PTO safely

I thought 7810s were supposed to be 175hp. Something that might make filming easier for you is a GoPro with a head mount so that way you can film hands free and have both hands for running equipment
