Are you actually from Christchurch? St Albans is highest crime rate and one of the worst hit by the EQs. All those "new townhouses" are also being bought by Kaianga Ora, formerly Housing NZ. Not the most favorable of neighbors! The property developers greedily buy these old homes throw up a 6 unit and provide 6 carparks. Do the math, more people living in them, the more cars on the streets. All what made Chch the city it was, was lost in the EQs. And as for that lubtard Gerry Brownlee, ask any local what he didn't do for our city!

We moved to Christchurch and struggled to buy a decent house that was not over priced. Many houses were not repaired correctly after the earthquakes and are not worth the money real estate agents are asking. If you want to buy in Christchurch due your due diligence and don't be hoodwinked by real estate agents. The bottom line is good housing in hard to fine in Christchurch.

I hope you’ve found a great house now, Robert and that you’re enjoying life in Christchurch. Given our earthquake history, through due diligence is absolutely essential when purchasing a home.

bro, just learn the native language. if you're confused about something, try learning it instead of throwing your toys out the cot when someone says words you don't understand.

@@crownart3668 you forgot to write your reply in maori. maori is significantly less important in the world than latin or espiranto, but it is right up there with klingon or elvish. virtually everyone in nz knows english - those who don't are more likely to speak chinese than maori.
@crownart3668 Жыл бұрын
@@superkiwistar would you understand the reply if it was in maori?? you're treating an entire native language as if it's irrelevant bc the area its from got colonized. nobody speaks the language because nobody bothers to learn, and when they DO, they get complaints from people like you who are too stubborn to learn anything other than english. and of course people are more likely to speak mandarin than maori?? mandarin is literally the most spoken language, but you wouldn't know that because you think that anyone who isnt white as paper should go back to where they came from.
