My favorite manager game of all time. Started to play it again and simply could not have a positive finance balance. No matter what I do I always lost money every month. It could be I played tcm 2003 in past and not this game because then I could actually have monthly profit.

This game was very complex in it's time and basically a football manager game with option to be chairman at the club. Investing money, assets, managing all stuff micro and macro. I like fm but fm really missing these kind of feautres what Totalclub had. I wish someone would remake the Totalclub series with a huge database and better graphics, keeping all the good values and traits and adding some new features. I liked it and in my opinion the TCM04,-05,-06 were the best manager games all time.

@@abc123myabc Yep, this was that game. Also a game where you could design redesign your team logos, adresses and design the statium aswell.

In Bulgaria we also have a soup from our "sour"Jogurt* , water, cucumbers and salt, so basically ayrian with cucumbers (but we don't actually use ayrian ) * In Bulgarian we we have a "special" Jogurt that is a bit sour from with we mix with water and salt to make ayrian and the name of this Jogurt in Bulgarian is "sour milk" (кисело мляко)

I was in your shoes, guys, I've tried so many ways and they didn't work. And then finally I managed to launch the game with Steam - create a Steam account, sign in, add the TCM2004.exe file as a local game to its library and see the wonder!

Windows made an update where you can't play it anymore what i done was got an old laptop and deleted a ton of windows updates going back years and it runs now.

How do you not get bankrupt in the major leagues? In career mode you have to start with a less prestigious team, but after a few years you can contract the big ones. Yet there is a major problem, they have too many players with huge salaries. By the end of the year you’re down -50M.

It's very important to use some tricks to decrease player wages. For example when you chase good young player always offer 5 year contract, if you offer 3 years after that contract he will demand huge increase so you can save 2 years. Staff: Try to sign good commercial director with trait "increase sales of all merchandise for 3-6 %" and send him on course to achieve maximum level. Invest in youth academy because there is space for good earnings...

@@nenaddragosavljevic3439 Thanks for trying! Unfortunately, I already know all that. Everything you say is correct, but it is something for the long term of the team. The problem is that in the short term, unless you can sell half the team in a month, by the end of the third month, you are already at -10M. This is because you only really need about 25 players, but you have 50 and, thus, basically have to pay 25 salaries for no reason.

@@radu-mihaiserbanescu7989 Why you have 50 players? Maximum is 25, balance between young low level players and good experienced high level players. I lead Ath Bilbao for 15 seasons, no financial problem, build stadium of 120000 capacity, reach 3 final of CL and 5-6 titles in Spanish first division

Literally cannot think of anything Football Manager does that is superior to TCM/FIFA Manager. If you combined the modern features of FM (particularly enhanced tactics and team talks) with the GUI, general gameplay and audio of TCM you'd have a cracking game. Had the TCM games on both PC and PS2, thought the PC version was far superior

Good afternoon, help me launch TCM 2004 on win 10. It does not start I tried a patch to 1.2 - the same thing. I tried on another PC with win 7. does not go. I took the version of the game from torrents. Tell me where did you get the game, and how did you launch it, which version of windows

Only old graphic cards are supported. Or you can launch in windowed mode (user.ini WINDOWED=1).

The best football management game I’ve ever played. No version of Football Manager has come close to surpass TCM 2004. I wish they made games like this again. I miss it so much.

@@simoncohen3875 there's a patch for it. I don't know if it's still online. The thing is that it crashes a lot. It's not that stable. I've bought a laptop, especially for it, with Windows XP installed, and it works flawless. No "special patch" needed. 🙂

you might need a Direct3D extension. try looking for d3d9.dll (Direct3D 9 is more recent than this game, but i think it should work; if it doesn't, look up Direct3D 8) and put it on your main folder.
