You can boost the value of the properties by putting better furniture in them as well. It's not worth trying to stockpile the best furniture because of how the furniture store works but sleeping 20 times or so and buying everything the store has, then going to some properties and choosing the autodecorate option you'll see the rent prices go up a bit. Plus it's funny to put the best quality furniture items in the Dweller Camp wagons.

Buy the cheapest house you can, Jack up the rent to highest. You can then concentrate on quests and jobs. Repair house as soon as you can. Rinse repeat until you have enough money to buy businesses. Waiting until you can afford a business means all that time without the extra income. Does that seem rather stupid to you? It does to me.

I only upgrade lute all the way because of lute hero achievement

My method was getting to a point where I owned a few cheap businesses, like the vendor in Dweller Camp or these market stalls in Brightwall. I'd play onward while those ran passively in the background. Once I earn a decent amount, I'd buy a large business or two and then AFK overnight, where I'll come back in the morning with an absurd amount of gold. Then I buy anything I want.

Or just buy everything.....I owned pretty much everything at this point in the game.

How to make loads of money... First get loads of money and buy everything and you get loads of money.

Playing this on series x is a fat update

So just so everyone knows ... just keep playing till you can get Shops ... and then save up from the houses/pay the repair fee until you buy all the shops... then leave it AFK overnight... the houses will go to 0% so they won't give you $$$ but the shops always will ... I get like 80k every 5 minutes... It's Not Hard.
