I like it when the dogs visit. It's great how they all get along so well and Lil Girl is so precious she seems like a dog you could really cuddle with. Echo is awesome he just doesn't seem very cuddly but he is a handsome guy and he has a great personality. The other dog reminds me of that 1 cousin at the family reunion. The one everyone looks at first when something goes wrong. Your wreaths are amazing. Is there anything you can't do?

Hi Cody, was a nice surprise to see this video pop up. For a first time wreath maker, you did an awesome job. Was great to see Mumbles in the background, Echopup, Lil' Girl and Bub/Bob? have to apologise as I couldn't quite get his name. 😏🙄 anywhooo, really enjoyed the video. Jeanette, New Zealand.

Hoping that you got some giant pumpkin seeds from your friends that you helped when they were harvesting theirs. Looking forward to seeing more on this project, and I bet everyone enjoyed the treats. Even if it's not the best year growing there still seems to be enough for you and the animals to enjoy.

What kind of grass? Do you think you could make sod out of it? Maybe to use around the pond. I've seen it done on golf courses.

Looks nice, when will you do the next barnyard shuffle. When we were younger we always ended up with burdock somewhere on us once even in our hair, but mostly at night when playing hide and seek because could not see them in dark ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

How about a winter cover crop? Cover crops is a while topic about amending your soil, naturally. Depending on what you plant. Those butternut squash 😄 yummy! That's some good eating! Enjoyed this, thank you.
@lennybuttz2162Күн бұрын
The fish in the pond are getting so big. I still don't understand how they live through the winter? Can't your dad use the big bucket on your digger to skim the grass off that plot of grass? If you're going to use it as a garden you'll still have to roto tilt it anyway won't you? Do you have a rental place nearby where you can rent one of those mini tractors with a big roto blade? I know, that cost money and it'd probably be like $120 $150 for a day. Things are looking good.

The pond doesn't freeze solid, they live like any other wild fish. Under the ice.

Hi Cody, I don’t know much about gardening, but I was taught as a kid to keep the weeds pulled so the plants would get more nutrients from the soil! I saw how your pumpkin patch had a lot of big weeds and just wondered why you don’t pull them! Love your videos and learn something new every day! 🪿👑Mumbles Forever!
@WhittAcres20 сағат бұрын
If you get them small that works, but pulling weeds tears the roots of the weed and the roots of the pumpkin, no good. The pumpkins are heavy feeders and don't get overtaken easily. Just need to keep the leaves in the sun.

Hey Cody. I too add course builders sand to a new bed that is heavy with clay. I have read articles that say to not add sand; but I still do. It is a one shot deal to amend because I don't till again. I just amend from the top and dig holes as needed for planting and I also add compost then. When it comes to composting course vines like your pumpkin vines I find they break down a little better if I cut them up. I am anxious to receive my calendar. Take care and my love to the animals.

I was curious how well the veggie garden did this year, and you answered that. Ok. Like the saying goes, you had a rough season, but it's only one of many. Nature...go figure. Your resilience and determination will never fail you. You are a positive influence for all ages. ❤
