I’ve seen videos of Komodos running down fast prey like monkeys and goats. They then swallow the prey whole. One small goat was still bleating inside the Komodo which had ingested it.

That thing is pure evil. This species should be contained.

Isn't that going a bit too far? What other animal species would you treat similarly?

Nothing "assures their survival". The sad truth is 80% of lion cubs do NOT survive to reach Adulthood.

Yes, good that you know. Is it also one of your favorite animals?

@@EpicAnimalFacts2023 Yes. I've loved lions since I was a kid in the 70s.

@@EpicAnimalFacts2023 Lions were my favorite big cats when I was a kid (though my cousin kept telling me "Tigers are stronger!😛"). But now, as an adult, I take a much less sentimental view of them. From what I've seen, lions are essentially the bullies of the African savannah, frequently stealing hard-won kills from smaller, weaker predators like hyenas, leopards, and cheetahs. And the way they treat each other is frequently very ruthless-lionesses abandoning weak, sick, or injured cubs; male lions killing rival males' cubs when they take over prides, etc. And that's not to mention the nuisance and occasional danger they often pose to humans. But we idolize them because they look good and sound cool. It's a sign of how superficial we humans are, if you ask me. 🙄

Why is half of this video dedicated to of the dragons trying to "get it on." This was a waste of time.
