Collier is doing so well with this. I believe what this type of trauma might be called today is Complex PTSD as the initial event was just the beginning. It goes on and on and on--something that onlookers have trouble comprehending. It's an unspeakable wound that just keeps on being opened as the body (mind) is attempting to heal. This is what I was diagnosed with 13 years ago after a sudden and traumatic event that kept going on and on in different manifestations. I made a film that is really, really good albeit it has never really done much circulating. I would love to speak to Collier one day. As for his courage, I would ask him if it was courage in his view? Having been through Complex PTSD, I sometimes think not being courageous would require more courage if that makes any sense. If I am right, Collier given his personality type and inner strength had no choice but to fight for his psychological life and not have it be stolen from him. Bravery is what I would call that I think. I don't know what to call it but I know it when I see it. I so relate to him even though my nightmare began as an adult and was of an entirely different nature. Thank you Sir!

This is crazy. I was looking up madsion middle school student arrested for threats and i was surprised that this happened in Ohio? My daughter goes to madison middle school in Nashville TN because a 13 yr ild was arrested Wednesday for a shooting threat. How crazy that they both happened at the same time.

Was amazed as Collier left the prison and his scumbag father, the woman's voice was speaking to the erstwhile D.O. soothing him, reassuring him that his counseling safety net was ever ready to soothe the narcissist so he'll be able to move on with dignity, he has a home there in that prison. He's welcome there. It's kind of deluded and dangerous, especially if any of them are released. Chilling.

I'm all for the roundabout at the intersection of Lexington-Springmill and Home Road. That is a dangerous intersection. The statistics Carl gave about the number of fatalities at roundabouts (6) versus stop signs and traffic lights (over 1,100) over roughly the same time span... makes for a strong case for a roundabout versus a single stop sign. Also, if you pop a wheelie going 70 MPH over a speed bump at night on a commercial section of road with people pulling in and out of parking lots all over the place... you are an idiot. Don't worry about offending someone with that. To heck with being politically correct. If people are going to do crap that any reasonable person would recognize as stupid, they deserve to be called an idiot. Born and raised in Richland County and currently live in Ontario. I hope to find ways for average citizens to get involved in making Mansfield a better place, whether it's with projects the mayor's office has going on or whatever... neighborhood restoration projects. I would just need to know where volunteer projects are going on so I can come and lend a helping hand.

I'm sorry but I can't help being extremely annoyed even angry at this womans demeanor and attitude during this interview, it's like watching and listening to an immature teenager thats almost coming accross as childish flirty with the fake giggles at inappropriate times even at something that isnt funny, with no ability to contemplate the seriousness of this topic or the surrealism he must be feeling on some level being back in those surroundings.... I'm not saying this should be a sad mournful interview but at least have an interviewer that's competent to understand the severity of the topic and compassion and decency to take it seriously, especially as the interview is with the main person who suffered through loss, trauma, and much more!

There is a total disconnect, lack of empathy and complete incongruency with the topic matter. Her giggling and laughter is so inappropriate, he keeps having to avert his eyes. If she flirting, she is mishitting badly as she has not bothered to make a connection. She couldn't even get serious when he noted that "there was nothing funny about it." It was the perfect opportunity for her to connect yet, she just kept going like he didn't say anything serious. At times he does seem to get frustrated but, he is doing a good job at keeping his annoyance at bay. When he gets emotional she laughs and says, "Let's talk about something happy then!" How insensitive, this girl is totally clueless avoiding difficult feelings, she really needs to gain some empathy and compassion for others.
