Thanks for word of the tonight. I believe in the report of the Lord. Jesus says he loves me unconditionally, I have seen it a zillion times in my life. Our God's so faithful. Psalms 136:1-26 talks about his Faithful Love endures forever and how we have to give him Thanks!

This is such a great open conversation. So glad you mentioned the written form of pornography. That was my first exposure to pornography and maybe for a lot of women they don’t consider the stories they read as pornographic. I’ve found those early influences being wrapped in grand romantic stories warped and messed with the very idea of what love should look like. It’s taken a dramatic work of grace in my life to heal the damage that pornography inflicted on my heart and mind. Working in youth ministry I’ve been able to help counsel multiple young women who are addicted to these types of books. I’ve seen it leave young women more susceptible to falling into physical relationships if it’s presented in a romantic way. Parents need to be aware of everything their children are looking at, not just the screens.

@11:30 "misinterpretations of the Bible" Thus the question needs to be asked - who has the correct interpretation of the Bible? And by what authority can they make that claim? Or is this just a subjective claim, that essentially means 'cult = someone I disagree with'.

Yup pretty much anything can be called a cult nowadays. Who cares whether people think its a cult. The holy spirit has revealed to me thst the Book of Mormon is true so I know whoever translated it must've been called of God. Its easy to misinterpret the scriptures when you don't follow a prophet who has actually talked with God face to face. Only one church has that today.

@ptrogers they line up perfectly. They refer to each other constantly. It doesn't line up to incorrect interpretations. But they are the stick of Judah and stick of Joseph, and together they confound all the false interpretations of the Bible, which are countless. It's not easy to see all the references it makes, but then many also didn't recognize Jesus Christ as their messiah mentioned in their scriptures, because they didn't like the message. It's clear to me that the Book of Mormon people are the other sheep that the Savior mentioned. It also fulfills the Prophecy in 2 Corinthians 13 that by two or three witnesses shall every word be established. The Book of Mormon is a second witness to his resurrection.

@@ptrogers The Bible isn't one cohesive message and one cohesive book - it is a collection of books, and by your same standard the books in the Bible 'don't line up, so it can't be true'. So maybe, just maybe, like how one can reconcile the 'differences' between books of the Bible, one can reconcile the 'differences' between the various books of the Bible and the Book of Mormon.
