We are at Gettysburg Farm now . The handicap sites are gravel, not paved and unlevel. They now let a local farmer plant corn on it. As a retired farmer i don't see how they can say it's a working farm.

Tent camped Promised Land many years ago. Very nice. Had the kids picking blue berries, rented a boat w/electric motor to putter around and fish. Found a mini golf / ice cream parlor along the road to keep the kids active in the evening. So dark along the lower lake you can actually see the milky way, a real treat for us city folk.

@@JonandMandyGoRVing we stayed here at site 21 over Labor Day weekend 2024 and it was great! Bathrooms were excellent and they do have the large sinks in the back for dishwashing. I saw other reviews where people complained about the pushbutton showers. I had no problem pressing the button. There is no temp setting; it's the temp they give you and it was fine.. nice and warm. *Maybe* it could have used more pressure. Zero cell service with T-Mobile and AT&T. I would definitely go here again but would try to get site 22 as it was a bit deeper and more level. Ice and firewood available. I would recommend bringing at least some kiln-dried wood as the wood I purchased there could have been a bit more seasoned but once it got going it was fine. Grocery store about 15 minutes away had bundled firewood. This place would be great in the fall when the leaves change. Lots of tree cover. Highly recommend!

UPDATE in 2024 We upgraded to a VIP/Elite membership early this year. I wanted to be able to go park-park and have less restrictions during peak, which VIP/Elite does nicely. I want to stay in western states and say that the Trail Collection in California and Arizona are really the best options (coast in CA and almost all Encore in Arizona). With only a 60 day advance booking available, I can now say there is practically no way possible to ever book any Trails Collection in the southwest during the winter months. I've tried numerous times and there is nothing. They explain that Encore only has to provide "some" site to TT members. They decide how many they want to make available. They also sell site for seasonal and annual. It could be that a site only has 1 or 2 and they get booked before you have a chance. Now, with the Adventure upgrade, they can book further in advance and get all of the available slots. In the future, there will probably be a different upgrade that goes before Adventure. So, if you want Trails Collection, you will always be fighting for the few spots or choosing to go to Yuma, Arizona in the middle of summer. I will NOT be paying for that again. Most likely will not be able to get into a single park even once for the whole year...and we are full-time and trying.

We stayed there one night last year on our way to Mesa Verde. I wish they took care of the camp sites as well as they look after the entrance. We had trash and tall weeds at our site. Couldn’t find the sewer dump because it was covered by leaves and weeds. The staff was friendly but like many reviews said this place could use lots of TLC
