The reality hits hard. For many years, I considered a Countach a car that, if everything went well for a while, I could potentially own. That bird flew away several years ago. Thankfully, I do have a 308, NSX, and C4 ZR-1 to keep me smiling!

DO NOT skimp on cheap gas. My 2012 GX now needs a new catalytic converter due to 4 years of filling up with 87. Costing me $2800. Also, that barn door handle is a pain and will stick. Cost me $300 to fix.

Side opening rear door ? Was it designed to be a hearse ?

"Is it fast? No." Yeah, well... let's look at it from this perspective: The vast majority of drivers would not be able to exploit the potential of this vehicle even remotely. Not even half of it.

Just perform transmission services despite what the dealer says. These things are reliable BUT the “lifetime” trans fluid is the kryptonite of the GX

I think the cloth is the same type as on my 1999 Toyota Sienna XLE that I had for 16 years. Fabulous seats and I have to say they aged very well and looked almost as good as when new. I much prefer a high quality cloth, velour or even wool interior seats to leather as they are just more comfortable. Look forward to see your finished result.
@thomasretziosАй бұрын
The cloth interior does age very well! Also with cloth vs leather in the Texas heat, I am less likely to have a second degree burn after the interior of my car has reached the temperature of the sun.

I bought a 23’ GX460 black on black a little over a year ago and absolutely love it. Enough safety features not to drive you nuts and keep you sane 😂. I’m keeping it completely stock as I’m not an off roader. Smooth ride and luxury! Just hit 8k miles and I will definitely be keeping this baby a long time. Great video!

Does anyone know if I can just buy to replace the front chrome trim piece only. It had rock chipped on my 22 GX460. Is it chrome trim can be separated from the big front grille. I don’t want to replace the whole grille will cost more. Thanks for the video.

Lots of people are saying this in your videos, but you are incredibly underrated. I'm a Toyota/Lexus guy, and my father owns a 1994 Land Cruiser and a 1998 Land Cruiser, and your channel is a great little bit of entertainment and information in the Land Cruiser world. I really wish KZbin would recommend you more!

Finally, a young car reviewer/enthusiast who doesn't sound or present like DeMuro and got everything right in his knowledge of a classic and iconic Ferrari. Keep up the great work with the same type of content, and you'll do very well with your channel. My only suggestion would be to lengthen your driving time in these types of cars and show your full experience while pushing them through their paces. Lastly, get your hands on some classic Porsches, I've owned several through the years, and they're all extremely different in their driving styles and dynamics.

Well done video blog of the mighty 308 👍🏼. I’m a lucky owner of 76 GTB and needless to say it’s the most fun, yet challenging visceral driving experience. It’s basically the 180 of a Tesla or just about any new car for that matter. Unlike the cars of today that drive you around, “YOU” are the one that drives and controls this car! It’s as raw as a car can get and by the time you’re done with a long drive, you are tired, you are sore, but yet 110% satisfied because you connected as one with your car. Long live the classics, especially the manual shifting classics ❤
