Is it possible to remove the center console and keep it away permanently so I could easily physically move from the front seat to the back seat?
@AchillesWrath1 Жыл бұрын
Yeah that was great fun. Especially taking those back bolts out lol.. Can't have that console there. The dog likes to sit there in the old van on a custom cushioned bench i made him and he wasn't having that console there in the new van. Soon as i put his bench in the Pacifica he jumped right up onto it. Seems like they don't make trucks or vans anymore without a center console. Or even just the old bench style seats would be a nice option. Oh well i got it done. I put in a piece of carpet over the opening there as well.

Well hopefully this was your first of many videos because you've obviously learned the technique of never doing it never holding the camera in one hand while you're trying to use and need to use both hands to do the work, you've learned to invest in a tripod I'd suggest anywhere from 40 to 100 dollars the higher end range is going to give you a wheelbase in a floating head the lower end range is going to give you stability they're both going to give you stability. But currently this video watching it is as frantic as your daughter was when she hastily and hilariously ran away pretending to be scared. Brilliant work good acting skills there.

2018 Pacific, popped off the covers at the bottom, two bolts on each side, took off with 1/4 inch rachet with 10 mm socket. No need to take off seats. Two bolts in front easy to take off. Took a while to unhook the wires. Great to have that console out of there. I keep bins between the seats, Holds everything that I would want on a trip.
@lisemacleod92602 күн бұрын
Thanks for the reassurance. I'm shopping for a van for a daily driver (not much of that, we're retired) and occasional short trips, even light camping. The full-size ones have a lot of room but get awful gas mileage. I'm thinking a 2018 non plug in hybrid for sale locally might work if we can step to the back between the seats without going outside. So I'm making sure the console will come out. I verified the middle row seats snap out, since they don't stow and go on the hybrid (but the 3rd row seats do stow and go.) I would like a plug in hybrid, but there are quite a few scary stories from drivers describing their plug in Pacifica shutting down on the highway, and no help from Chrysler. As an elderly woman with 2 dogs and a handicapped husband in the car I'll wait until they sort that out.
