Why no Shane? I don't think Westlife would survive without Shane. He adds flavour the others do not have. He is an all-rounder. Mark is very good with highest tones but he is not an all-rounder vocalist, his mid and lowest tones are not really good. Nicky is fine here and there most on mid-high notes, Kian has nice rough tones but both him and Nicky need more control on their voices. So basically Louis Walsh was on point when he said the lads work well together. On this song Brian had the sweet tone, but his voice was not strong. But his and Shane's voice were perfect together, giving emotion and sweetness and raspy when needed.
