Chris Barrie (Rimmer) was also in another BBC comedy called The Brittas Empire (1991-1997).

As others have said, after season 6 the show went on hiatus for a while, leaving everyone stuck with that massive cliffhanger ending. Season 7 picked up with one of the two lead writers on longer participating in the show, and it was still good, but a bit different. It's still worth watching the next seasons, but it's just to keep in mind, things are going to...... well, change.

Craig Charles went onto play the role of Lloyd Mullaney in Coronation Street on and off between 2005 and 2015, having been suspended in 2006 but returning in February 2007.

You're lucky you get to see how they get out of this mess tomorrow, those of us who watched the show as it aired in the 90s (like me) had to wait 3 smegging years🗓🗓🗓

Unfortunately, this is the last episode Rob Grant was co-writer. From here on out, it's all Doug Naylor, and it quickly becomes obvious who was the better writer.

That was the best series of Taskmaster. With James Acaster and the completely insane Rhod Gilbert it was an absolute classic.

You're upset that you've got to wait a day to find out what happened? We had to wait a full decade to find out!

Series 6 is a point of maturity where all the jokes are well oiled. Plots good. Characters established. Good writing and delivery.

Well... no comment on this (what's already is a lie). As u say "U can't say that, George!", he can or would if he would still be alive... so he can't. Ok, in ur imagination he can. The best in George was, is and ever will be.... it's not getting old. It's like an everygreen u hate to hear, but always get happy when u hear it. That's the unlogical logic of humans. "Come on.. white christmas again? Hey, we r in Hawaii!". As long as people r able to dream, the dream will live on. Or it's dying... doesn't bother me anyway. The wonder in this thing is: I am not allowed to write the things here, that George can say in his shows. That's the biggest scandale i can offer u!. BTW: I love ur laughing!

I'm British and I've been Very fortunate to meet chubby a few times and I tell you, he's amazing, his on stage persona compared to who he actually is, night and day. He adores his wife, he'll never swear off stage and he's extremely respectful. We love you chubby 🎉😂xx

One episode to go from the brilliant series 1-6 … Unfortunately the series goes rapidly downhill 7 onwards.. especially with the new Kochansky who ruins the entire series

They had to change Walkers crisps, to Lays. I expect Americans thought they would walk off on their own, so called them Lays reassure them, that the packet would just stay still.

True Red Dwarf ends at season 6. They took a few years off before season 7 and it is nowhere near as good. Season 9 and on are pretty much unwatchable. Shame as it was my favorite series growing up.

I don't think it was the gap between series that caused the drop in quality more the fact that one of the writers left and something else which I can't say without giving spoilers.

I rarely comment or suggest things to watch, but if you want to watch a GREAT british Film/series, I suggest "This is England" There's a movie, then 3 short series. 10-11 hours altogether. Great acting, dark/disturbing themes but also full of humour, camaraderie, compassion, friendship, heartbreak, great music and the most realistic acting I've ever seen. I highly recommend!
