Nearly all mosques are like this, it's a business and they're only interested in money and ego. They don't do nothing for the community. And still ppl wana collect more and build more mosques, even though most of them are empty most of the the time. Most sikh gurdwaras cook fresh food everyday for anyone to come and eat, even homeless ppl and junkies, they have gym facilities and regular activities and days out, they follow parts of Islam more than the mosques. My local mosque..... Ppl have politely asked wat they do with the money and why they got £2 million sitting in the bank doing nothing and they literally beat the person and throw em out the mosque. The simple solution is to put the mosque in the name of the community and have an election every 3 or 5 years so the community can vote for who will run it. It's my dream to have enough money to build a mosque and let it be run like this.
