As an app that promotes privacy but also asks to enable location data to use it at startup seems contradictory. Why does the app just not ask the user to input/search area/city if you don't want to enable location. This can be for battery performance and/or personal reasons as well.
@x9116 күн бұрын
Not a bad idea but I don’t think it’s contradictory, it was more for making it easy getting location based timing.

We need one Muslim cola brand thats better in taste and value than coke. There are just too many out there and none of them are that tasty or offer better value. Rmememr Qibla cola and Mecca cola? Evoca has been around the longest. Drinks brands are very difficult to profit from. The canning/bottling is super expensive. There are just too many of these Muslim cola brands that just taste meh. I have been buying barr cola and it's so much cheaper than these Muslim brand sbecause they just dont have the production or volume for it. And to be honest barr cola tastes better than evoca or salaam. it' is not good enough to position yourself as anti-coke. The alternative needs to taste good or offer substanial value. Both evoca and salam have an aftertaste which doesn't taste good.

1:01:00 no idea why anyone would want to franchise of a single store business. Just set up your own brand - dont pay royalties for no reaason. Do you think paying 5% of your turnover is going to be fun in the long run? People who want to franchise really need to get a job. Because what they're really saying is "i fear the unknown and I want someone to do it for me". As a business owner I would never want to be a franchise! Whats the upside for me? I can set up my own smash burger place in Oxford. Create my own socials, google places listings, UE/roo listings and sell. Why on earth would you want to give 5% of your turnover to someone else that will have zero business upsides to you? There are some businesses where being a franchise works. Some small stores can benefit from a national chain's marketing and advertising efforts. If you have a recovery vehicle or do dent or windscreen chip repair - being a franchise will get you customers from day 1. As soon as you join - they will send your leads. Without joining it's going to be really really difficult to start getting customers. In a food place. customers are looking for food places to eat. They are regularly eating out. Ordering take outs. You just need photographs for UE/roo listings. You dont need to be a big brand or get help from another brand to set up and sell. There are people who are operating takeouts out of ghost kitchens. You can rent kitchen spaces, just a room in an industrial unit. Much cheaper rent and operate solely out of UE. You give 20% to VAT man, 30% to EU/roo, several thousand a month for rent and rates, now you want to give 5% to a franchise?

everyone doing smash burger now... horribly too. A place I wont name was OK in the beginning but to get profit for themselves they have used poor and poor quality ingredients. Now they just use beef thats just not suitable for smash burger. Extremely tough meat and no flavour. They hide this by putting a lot of cheese and other sauces on there so you cant tell the beef is such poor quality. There are places that cant even make a cheeseburger properly who are doing smash burgers.

@@ahans1792 just Tanim the scammer. I wasn't slagging this guy off. Notice I was criticing the copycats. If you want to be another copy cat, go on your £10,000 a weekend course that will teach you to suck eggs trying to break into "rent for rent" market. There is a problem in the community in east london where people cannot use their brains to come up with a unique concept. People just copy each other. There are way too many food places in East London. You drive by on the weekend and you see all these takeaways open with just 1 customer eating in there. Because the area is oversaturated with burger places and fried chicken places.

I think the brother is not using his skills effectively. He's got a programming background and he's not utilising his skills. Running a burger business is really not living to his potential. One of the regrets I have was not getting into computing and learning to code. I would be cranking out software in the evenings and weekends creating apps and doing voluntary work for Islamic software/Muslim advocacy. Running an OK burger restaurant is an OK living. The companies house information for simply smashed isn't exactly screaming success. I know ebay stores with higher NBV than them. Leave takeaway businesses to those who dont have the nouse or education to get a professional career. Use what Allah has given you to its strengths. I had a Finance and accounting background. But my passion was building websites. I should have pursued a web dev background amd web apps. I still do it in a round about way. I build ecommerce brands and a lot of that time is spend on SEO and web development.

Islamically you're not even allowed to get a job as a cleaner for a bank due to the severity of ribba, I don't know how a 'teacher' would recommend working for one. It's important to seek islamic knowledge first before watching these videos, may Allah guide us and this brother too
@MuslimMoneyTalk23 күн бұрын
Salaam- thanks for your comment! I understand your desire to divest from riba as much as possible but many scholars (including our own) take the view that as long as you’re reasonably removed from the riba generating process then the job’s income is considered halal. This could be someone working in compliance in a bank all the way to the cleaner as you say

@10xAds28 күн бұрын
It's a good product but I see it coming in future at some distance .. it's not similar to internet banking where people thought it's fraud (as he mentioned). People did not think it was Friday but they were getting mugged due to the lack of security .. don't get it confused or mic it up .. Also our Sharia board is not very trusted .. they have messed us up in past .. and that also needs to be addressed. Also people need to gain trust on that as much of the islamic banking in past was a good effort but a complete BS .. it's a fact it was BS. .

How is someone expected to pay rent + pay off x% capital of the house per month (no matter how small)? This solution is only for those taking home £5k+ per month imo where they'd have enough capital left over after paying rent to purchase more equity of the house.

If Pfida are going to be charging tenants/partners the current ludicrous rental rates then they will be making huge profit, more than banks supplying conventional Islamic or Haram mortgages. It's a good business model but costly for tenants unless they can quickly pay off the house...but may pay even more if the value of the house doubles over time... 🧐🤔

@mektrode14 күн бұрын
@@rullah003 Why is it that these discounts are not displayed on your websites? One cannot even estimate roughly what the rent would total to, it’s very vague. On the other hand, I can go to gatehouse or stride up and make a calculation on what my monthly spend would be with them before I even pick up the phone to call so to say.
@rullah00314 күн бұрын
@@mektrode the discounts are based on the characteristics of the property and application specifics, so we can only give that information once we have those details. Remember, we aren't a lender providing a mortgage product. We are an investment partner buying a property together with you and taking those risks in the property alongside you - a very different proposition to a mortgage. Typically though, we currently offer rental discounts that are at least 5-10% and can be higher.

Islamic shar'ee trade at the core is an equitable exchange of value between two consenting parties. The currencies of choice start with gold and silver, but when there is a shortage of these two commodities, then items such as what, barley and dates were accepted as means of currency. All these accepted items of currency have 'intrinsic value'. People often get confused with this archaic term and suggest anything that is valued by people subjectively includes intrinsic value. That is a misguided conclusion and explains why so many miss the obvious. Another way to explain what unites all the traditional accepted currencies is that all the said items have various uses and utilities outside their use as a currency. There are countless uses and benefit to gold outside the use of currency. The same is true for silver and the other items that are accepted. The billion dollar question then remains, other than the use of currency what utility or benefit does bitcoin have or offer? In fact, this is nothing more than a Dajjalic ploy to dupe mankind away from what Allah SWT has ordained and left as a means of protection for mankind. Anyone with inner sight can see that crypto is yet another rope or a ploy to eventually hang and dupe mankind to become enslaved by non tangible, digital, programmable currency that will impose complete and utter control over the masses. It takes only the stroke of a pen to make all crypto illegal tender and make the likes of CDCS the only game in town, which is a checkmate move around the horizon. We should be the greatest advocates of a return to not just gold but to a bimetallic system of gold and silver. Instead we have misguided and ignorant leaders that are leading us to the depths of perpetual slavery.
