Interesting the junction is a box, yet the stop line is pretty much immediately after the box there, and the crossing itself isn't boxed... and incidentally, the bike should have kept going and cleared the crossing too! (and the car, erm, yea...)

I think there (were) 3 level crossings on the EMCL in Northumberland (including this one) that didn’t have skirts Ulgham Lane Felton Lane (this crossing, athough i have bad news) and Chevington (which is the next one along from Felton Lane heading north) I haven’t been to Felton Lane recently, but it appears Felton Lane now has skirts (based on google streetview, i am planning on visiting this crossing to confirm this) Chevington and Ulgham Lane are still skirtless as far as i know (i last went to Ulgham Lane less than a month ago, I haven’t been to Chevington, at all, but based on the google streetview image from around the same time as Felton Lane, it appears to still be skirtless)

That level crossing gives very little warning for pedestrians and vehicles to clear before ths barriers lower gee

I remember i was little. i went to this crossing in 2014! My dad recorded it with his old phone.. So many memories has came back im very Sad that it got removed :(

that barrier is always down for much longer than nessacery,normally 4-5 minutes whereas the one just mile away at Ryton is only down for about 30 seconds. When a train is approaching from Carlisle heading for Newcastle,the barrier at Blaydon will be lowered before the one at Ryton which is much nearer the approaching train. How does that make any sense?

At 6:14 or 10:41 the two red lights show when crossing is deactivated.

Rather appropriate the first automatic full barrier level crossing should be at Dingwall. Full barriers to give you the wall, a pity that the continuing alarm isn't more of a ding.

Trains only go through Morpeth at 50mph because of Morpeth curve.

Moulinearn was the last crossing in Scotland worked by a resident crossing keeper, who lived in the house closest to the crossing. Her name was Edith Herbertson and she worked there for many years, also being married to a relief signalman on the Highland main line. She had one rest day per week (when the job was covered by a reliefman stationed in an ‘igloo’ by the line) and spent the rest of her time in and around the house ready to attend to the crossing when needed. Originally the keeper was required to work the crossing 24 hours but by 1994 the overnight service was done away with and the crossing became user worked between 2200 and 0600.

I wanted to know why don’t they dig a tunnel and do an extension for the main line Train so they extend the unused abandoned underground stations. Why couldn’t they use the part D78 Stock train doors on the sides and also restructure the front face of the A60 and A62 stock and remix and make them all together and also redesign them overhead line and also make them into 5 cars per unit and also having 2 Disabled Toilets on those 5 cars per unit A60 and A62 stock trains and also convert the A60 and A62 stock trains into a Scania N112, Volvo TD102KF, Volvo B10M, Gardner 6LXC and Gardner 8LXB Diesel Engines and also put the Loud 7-Speed Voith Gearboxes in the A60 and A62 stock and also modernise the A60 and A62 stock and make it into a 11 car per unit so it could have less doors, more tables, computers and mobile phone chargers. A Stock Trains and also having 8 Disabled Toilets on those A stock trains. why couldn’t we refurbish and modernise the waterloo and city line Triple-Track train tunnel and make it more bigger and extend it to bank station, making it into a Triple-Track Railway Line so those 4 European countries such as Germany, Italy, Poland And Sweden to convert the waterloo and city line Triple-Track Train tunnel into an High Speed train. The Third Euro tunnel Triple-Track Train line to make it 8 times better for passengers so they could go from A to B. then put the modernised 11 car per unit A Stock and put them on a bigger modernised waterloo and city line Triple-Track train tunnel so it could go to bank station to those 4 European countries such as Germany, Italy, Poland And Sweden. The modernised refurbish 11 cars per unit A stock could be a High Speed The Third Triple-Track Euro Tunnel Train So it is promising and 37 times a lot more possible to do this kind of project that is OK for London Germany, Italy, Poland And Sweden. oh by the way, could they also tunnel the Triple-Track Railway Line so it will stop from Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Essex so that the Passengers will go to Germany, Italy, Poland and Sweden and also extend the Triple-Track Railway Line from Bank to Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Essex Stations so that more people from there could go to Germany, Italy, Poland And Sweden Easily. Why couldn't they extend the Piccadilly line and also build a brand-new underground train stations so it could go even further right up to Clapton, Wood Street and also make another brand new tunnel train stations in Chingford and could they extend the DLR.
