Wow this is gorgeous. I am at present doing Vintage delight and Sarah, A new beginning. Will be getting this beautiful wrap started when I swap around so as not to get bored doing one item. You are a wonderful teacher Tania, and you make it possible to attempt more difficult patterns with your clear and easy to follow tutorials. So, appreciated. Thank you so much.

I’ve got 4 less stitches on row 23. I can’t figure out where. Has anyone actually made this pattern
@hookedbytj27 күн бұрын
Yes many have made this. I can’t tell just from a comment what may be the issue. Have you gone to Ravelry and gotten the written pattern and double checked with that? It is free pattern. I do not see updates listed on Ravelry nor comments here that there was an error, but there may have been a correction. Or you can join the designers Facebook page (I made video for the designer, I’m not the designer). Links are in description of the video. All else fails, just “fudge “ or add in the missing st/sts. Or try the next round and see if you can get it to work.

How many yards total for the entire blanket?
@hookedbytj28 күн бұрын
@@melissamartin8760 I believe it is around 1200-1300. Please find link in description of the video for the written pattern (free). Link takes you to Ravelry which shows the yardage on the summary page.

8:23 for anyone else confused, although she says (and the instructions too!) that you are single crocheting in the chain 2 spaces, they are in fact chain 1 spaces, as instructed back in Part 2, Round 31, they are chain 1 spaces between each cluster of 2 double crochets

Do we know what the purpose of the chain 1, sc acting as a chain 2? From the looks of ur comments you’re not the pattern creator but I’m finding this particular part of the square instructions more confusing and harder to work with than just using chain 2

@@jemenamooney I don’t remember exactly but likely designer would have preferred the look of it… you can always do what you prefer-might have a slight different look than the original

Thank you for doing this video:!) I decided to take this beautiful journey back in December of last year:!) and I just finished this month November 25th 2024. I have struggled with some stitches and had to take it out and redo it but I pressed through it and started it all over again. But it was worth every little redo . And now I am so pleased on how it turned out . This crochet Afghan I just made has a special place in my heart because when I started this beautiful Afghan I found out that I was pregnant:!) this has been such a meaningful journey for me thanks for doing this video!

I was looking for a different kind of blanket to crochet, saw this and said yup, this is the one. I have some mandala yarn I found in my limited stash in the colorway Gnome, and they are very bright colors, and I love sunrises and sunsets. Anyhow, been crocheting for 50 years now, and when it came time for the Shallow Posts I got stumped lol. out of all the stitches I thought I knew/had done that was a first for me. Never even heard of it. Frogged a few times but voi·la I got it and now smooth sailing! I am really enjoying this pattern, New subscriber as well.🥰🤩
