@jjptechКүн бұрын
No lo he tocado, pero segun todos los reviews es MUCHO mejor que el Numa X, las teclas tienen tacto de madera, y las teclas agudas son mas livianas que las graves como en un piano real. Y la calidad es mejor

Hi JJP, looks like you have experience with Keystage and Camelot Pro for iPad. Which of the two do you prefer as a host for plugins?
@jjptech4 күн бұрын
@@MusicOnPlanet I am a power user, and Keystage allows me to do A LOT of tweaks and changes, but Camelot is a bit more streamlined, but it is too limited in so many other aspects like customizations. With camelot you can link multiple ipads to play the same backing tracks and the backingtrack implementation is superb on camelot and is too cumbersome on Keystage. But I am a Keystage Guy, the support from the developer is AMAZING and he often includes ideas from the community, he is engaged all the time helping people. I am still awaiting for the beta he is going to release soon (I hope)

Excellent Review and critique. This is a flawed diamond of an instrument. The price point is excellent but there are TOO MANY basic bugs and then in addition, there difficulties with implementation/use/workflow in a controller context. The audio interface is a genius and extremely attractive feature. The issues with master and volume control which have been pointed out on at least two videos I have watched, seem to be inexplicable.
@jjptech29 күн бұрын
I kind of understand that this is a more or less company, I don't know how much budget they have and my guess it is a small budget, but I question why having a small budget they decided to focus in totally irrelevant features instead of fixing a few others. On the facebook group there seems to be a couple of person making efforts to fix many of the sounds, but I haven't found real traceability, it seems that one of the developers did get in touch with a tester to fix a few things here and there and they are releasing already some fixed issues, but I am affray to test.

Regarding these comments I just read. I would like to have a portable digital with "correct" voicing and "balanced" key volumes throughout the 88 keys. Example: I play triads on my right hand while I sing and if a key is too loud, the other 2 keys are almost drowned out and can't be heard at all. (annoying) I can't care less about other sound patches, I just want correct piano sounds. My experience is with digitals under $5000. MSRP. I hope the high end ones are closer to perfection than the ones I have to use with imperfect balance. From now on I'm done with digitals unless I can afford high end models.

Really good thinking about the routing for external inputs. Also I've realized that assigning the sticks should be much easier, it needs to be not more complicated than one click, second click and then turning the joystick to change destinations. Should be at the top of a menu, not somewhere on the third page of a list.

Hola Jesus, thank you for your video (s). Since 1 year, i play on numaX88 (in bands and home studio). First i must say that it certainly is the best value for money on the market at this time, as a « stage piano », mostly because of its excellent keybed. But i FULLY AGREE with all your points and recommendations on that video, to improve the playability of that gear. Mostly about organ sounds and rotary access, and setlist a d seamless sound. I sincerely hope that Studiologic will consider your suggestions (i must say that their team is responsive and attentive to customers. (Nevertheless, i had serious problem with it (internal card had to be changed). Cheers from France
@KoshDukai3 ай бұрын
I congratulate Studiologic for their effort in improving the PIANO engine of the Numa X >Piano<, so Sympathetic Resonance, String Resonance, Duplex Resonance and Ribattuto improvements are always important and critical if not good, nowadays. But, once that's done, I agree with all the UX improvements you mentioned (especially the lack of relative Pedal control) so it can better compete with similar products, including expanding the Organ controls (even external MIDI CC control of the drawbars) and/or the Synth section of it. Speaking of the other products... have you considered checking the Arturia AstroLab? I think it does support Playlists which would allow quick switching through preset sets though it won't do 4 parts, only 2 parts. Some of the included Samplers would easily play user imported samples, like you wished too.
@jjptech3 ай бұрын
My biggest issue with Astrolab is that it doesn’t have Seamless transition, so completey useless for me as this is one of the main features I need. Also the astrolab doesn’t have USB audio capabilities. Adding to that they only have 61 kayes version. In overall I much prefer the Kurzweil PC4-7 rather than the astrolab. The PC4 is the one I think I am going to get to replace the limitations of the Numa, it is very sad because at this moment I only need to fix seamless transition (which I already proved in the video that the Numa is capable of) and I think studiologic is not going to implement that in the near future.
