Thing is this is just such a different character to the first two who scale so easily. I found it super difficult to scale for damage or survivability. Just nothing made sense with the power cards or orbs.

I feel like the true first step for beginners should have been this, draw out some roads first and place your building around them. I fired up a game for the first time and was randomly placing buildings around and trying to connect them with roads…my town looks so chaotic

I feel like you skipped over the hard part pretty nonchalant on shadowflame. How you survived opening the altaR I have no clue. But theres pretty much no way I can survive. Its not a matter of being low hp for the summon its about surviving to get to summon the boss. I get ticks of 660 dmg a second or more pr second. Even popping shadow protection potion beforehand and a magicorb is not enough shielding to survive just opening the altar. It is for me the worst rune as its the only one completely impossible to solo, you need a healer, how you did it with warlocks is beyond me. More hp = more damage ticks so you cant stack stamina to survive. Edit: Now solved Blizzard made the quest harder appearently, Shadow protection potion does not work, sacrifice does not work. The way to do it is by spellstone and shadow ward. Which will allow you to survive the burst from the altar getting out about 30-50% hp left over which is plenty against the succubus if you are high enough level. Succubus is 38 elite. Stamina stacking has no effect as its a %hp damage tick that is designed to be more than lethal. About 25% hp per tick over 5 or 6 ticks.

small tip as a druid, the webbed nodes shapeshift stops the slow and you can just fly of at full speed

I understand the complaints and I do agree that it sucks for alts, its just a hard problem to work around. if there was no loot reduction for players that have already completed the raid then a static would be full geared in 1-2 weeks. Each player would just have 2 characters and would reclear the raid a bunch of times with 1 player on their main each time while all the alts pass on gear.

Got into season 5 about a month or so and grinding to see if I can do a tormented boss before the new expansion. Item stat distribution and drops remain horrible. Tempering still horrible. Pit boss one shot is a huge pain. Tried Sorc to take a break from Necro, not sure it matters if item stats don't min / max with the build. Endgame mechanics and grind continue to suck. Will not get the spiritwhatever expansion. Bring on POE 2.

Months after this video, I discovered this, I started playing like a month ago and haven't looked into the dungeon thing because of people. I love playing solo, I don't want to deal with people being toxic, I like dungeons but not people 😅 now I get to enjoy them for the first time. But I wish the item system was better. I just want to pay my subscription and play the game the way I want.❤

I have 2500+ hours in this game, but i quit about 5 years ago. The grinding was pretty nice, its brainded gameplay, and at times it could be very relaxing. What put me off were 2 things. Grinding takes a LOT of time. I felt I was wasting too much time of my life playing this game. 2nd thing was the RNG. I had full TET gear, and trying to get to PEN just felt so unfair and annoying. Im happy I quit. Watching this to see if anything changed, and because Archeage looks cool, but is under Kakaogames...

this fire build is amazing my other half said no way I could pull off fire build because its to hard for beginners. Well lets just say I am doing pretty good no deaths yet I'm softcore for now till I have learned to play all these classes thru softcore first ofc.

Does the fishes that you cast into the water (that applies perception for ex) count towards herb/mining aswell? Cause you could pretty effectivly stack that buff for 30 mins which is as long as the phial for the camo-nodes. Edit: Nvm max buff is 5 min for 45 perception.

Any crafting addons not on this list that you would recommend?

Probably the best mmorp around. Everyone can find his cup of tea in BDO. Grinding for "endgame" gear is not the only thing to do nor the best. Just play the game, the entire journey is nice.

My problem with Shaaloani was that it felt like the creators said 'right, we're doing the Americas, half pre-colonial, half post-colonial', and whilst I get that zones in the past have often been resonant of real world locations (especially Kugane, that was literally just Japan) usually there wouldn't be such a close approximation of our own world. I mean I kinda wish we went back to just creating unique worlds and not feeling like everything has to closely resemble our world. Making Shaaloani 'Western World with some fantasy elements' just took me out of the story. On paper it's good I guess, and the music is certainly great, but I also felt like it was unnecessary. If you're going to try and represent the Americas in all their vastness I feel it would have made more sense to do North America (or Xak Tural as it's called in this world) in a separate DLC, because it broke with the theme of the other zones, plus they then went and introduced Alexandria into the mix so for me the whole of Xak Tural just felt like filler. I did like the scene with the train though, that was good fun, again that could have been something we saw in a future expansion rather than it be tacked on to this one.

I kinda hope that the post-MSQ storylines are about trying to find a way to revive the Endless and turn Living Memory back into what it was when you got there, because that was a major disappointment for the end of the MSQ I think.

I have to disagree with you about the minigames because they weren't really minigames. The Pelupelu minigame wasn't really much of a minigame, you just got a couple of dialogue options and if you got one wrong, it was process of elimination until you picked the right one. All the trade stuff just happened anyway as part of the MSQ, it was like being rail-roaded. If we're going to have a minigame lets actually have a minigame, but with FFXIV within the MSQ the only minigames we get are fighting enemies which is obviously what we do anyway, doing the odd follow mini-game where you have to hide to avoid being seen by someone you're following, and then occasionally you get the one where you use the POV pointer to focus in on something. I wish the 'trials' you had to do to get the tablets were actual trials, not just endless dialogue and cutscenes.

I play bdo since 2017 with larger or smaller breaks. I think it is a fantastic game. One thing ppl say its true its missing a group /dungeon content but... bdo seems like a game suitable also for older generation. People at the age of 35/40/50 who have kids... work... can be interupted by every moment... so bdo since mostly you grind solo... is perfect for them because you can stop at any moment. And there is lots of content where you do other things than killing mobs so again.. you can just stop at any moment. Game also does not put any pressure on you to contantly get higher grade weapons and armor... just to be on the same level with others.. you can basically play at your own pace and thats it! You will not miss out anything :)

Paragon board is the issue. Some classes require up to 8 boards to be good. When you limit it to 5 crappy boards that screws the class. If we could choose the 5 boards and not be forced to use the 5 they give you it would be better.

Black desert is such a weird gsme full of lifeless ai that stand still till you walk right up and kill them.. the ai suck and make the gsme feel lifeless
