To be sure, I’m seeing a 400 A meter socket with dual lugs on the load side that are each feeding 200 A loads (1 being just a disconnect for now, the other a load center) ? Dual lug meter sockets are a nice option. I want to start connecting solar PV (and energy storage) on them. I welcome thoughts and comments.

Why are the holes threaded on the bracket side? This is wrong and borne of obvious ignorance on the designers part.

@Sdw75433 ай бұрын
Not true, standing seam metal roofs don’t have much overhang, less than 2” because of how the panels lock in to the drip edge. From what you can see this is normal Standing Seam roof. The issue on this is the gutter kinda creased out. But nice fix on that. Most would’ve just threw some more screws in it.
@advol27203 ай бұрын
How's this tiller held up? Would you recommend?

Noticed this, too. The garage and back of house have a good slope. I am going to bring this up. They are 6 inch gutters, so they will drain, but I worry about ice forming when the water doesn't shed in the wintertime.

Great explanation Drew! Been looking to do solar / batteries for my house. Been looking at options. Didn’t realize the critical load panel thing was necessary. So used to my neighbors having a gas generator and a whole house transfer switch. Great video.
@SolarDrew3 ай бұрын
Thank you friend! One reason I really like this inverter is because it's like having a transfer switch built in. The solar also has a generator input. I have a generator just need to get the barn cleaned up to make room for it. Stay tuned!
