The iPad app I'm using here is Loopy Pro (you can get it here with a discount: loopypro.com/inbar) The midi keyboard is MPK Mini but it's only being used to control Loopy Pro

Hey it looks so cool ! Anyway , Could you recommend which “key , synth” vst usable for loopy pro ? I usually work with lab-top or rc505 mk2 , and try to work with loopy pro recently🙌 and i just realized not much vst is available for ipad or iphone so it would be nice if you share some of info 🤔🙏 And loopy pro can do same function as rc 505 ? For example beat repeat or dj effect like rc 505 output effect stuff ? Probably I need to buying the plugin for it as well ? It seems not really easy to get right plugin info for loopy pro 👀😭

I've made a few videos that talk about plugins. For instrument sounds there are quite a lot of options, I like to use Numa Player (it's free!), Retro Piano, House Mark I, Bleass Monolit (also free!), Bleass Samplewiz 2, Digitalism... Another free one is Viking Synth.. Twin 3 is amazing but pretty heavy on cpu. As for effects I like Koala FX and Turnado. There are some templates that come with Loopy Pro, some of them are Rc 505 related so you can start by playing around with them! It's an amazing resource It's under Projects --> Sample Projects

Inbar, i am from Argentina and im trying to catch up Loopy pro.. i have watched all your tutorials but i am lost in something basic: the first thing you’ve looped in this sesión is a melody that starts before the first pulse. if i start looping that, my melody in the donut does not start at 12 oclock. Can you give some advice? I love this session!!

I love your videos!!! Loopy pro is the best thing thats ever happened to looping tbh. Quick Q: how do you get the plugins to show up as just the icon rather than icon and text name? Thanks :)

I agree with you! Do you mean on the bottom? Swipe down in that area with your finger and then they minimize themselves

If you don't want to see them at all you can open up the plugin and click on the eye icon on top, then they disappear completely from the bottom

Hi! As far as I know Synth One is not auv3 (sadly!) so I don't think it's applicable to set up preset switching. I only use sounds and effects that are auv3

Brilliant and so much detail. A truly generous impulse to help others get started. Having spent hours trying to bind Rec/Play/Stop (toggle) AND clear (hold) to two different foot controllers this week (Blueboard and Airstep) , and failed, I’d love to see what bindings you used because the problem for me is clearly with the settings in Loopy Pro which keeps thinking the ‘hold’ is also an on/off, or something like that. But thanks again for this. I’ll watch it a few times until it sinks in!

Midi controllers are definitely confusing! It might be the settings in the midi controllers and not in Loopy. Did you get it sorted?
