Ok. So mine will take a disc at start up. Won’t read it. Makes a noise like it might be trying to eject it after it spins it for a bit. It’s not loud or noisy when spinning at all. In fact you might say it’s unusually quiet? The spinning icon appears at the top center of screen. Hit eject and it ejects the disc. After that it will not accept any more discs.

Those who are wondering to check the serial no with the box, you can find it on the bottom of the internal white box, and not the outer one. So basically the serial no on the console, the box, and the warranty card should match.

I just used this tutorial and while it wasn't all bad, It would have helped if you had mentioned the number of screws pulled from every location that way when it comes time for reassembly, we wouldn't have to guess how many screws go where, even though it's somewhat self-explanatory, the verbalization would have still helped. otherwise, a good video.

So I have a huge issue. I disassemble my entire ps5, unscrew all screws and now that I put it back together I got 2 extra screws, one huge one and one small one. However all screws are in. I should mention that both are black so technically they belong outside. I have 2 on the back for the battery, I have 6 normal ones, 2 narrow, 2 huge ones and one silver one on the front. Plus the 4 for the fan. I keep disassembling it and put back together and still left with 2 screws. I feel like a goblin is messing with me or something

hello fasttech, I just got my phat ps3 fixed by the frank mod, my old motherboard was "faulty" from the repairer who told me, i have my old hdd which is ofw, i copied my original hdd to a new hdd copy and plugged it in asking to format it, which deletes all of my data, it booted reading evilnat, how can i save my old data to match the new motherboard, thanks, any idea? i know about multiman, rebux extracting erk and eid key, i used another video guide on ps3uart.gui to see the error code on my old motherboard which was the gpu code 403034

The X clamp removal tool only costs a couple bucks and is a lot safer than using a screwdriver. It's fine to do it but you have to be so careful

I bought a new hardrive from the link & everything. Installed it just like you said & it has worked for maybe 2 or 3 days & now my PS4 is moving slow, games are freezing & i only have 3 games installed on a 1TB PS4. & I work all day just to come home & chill & play the game for an hour or 2. But I honestly feel as if i wasted my 40 dollars man. I definitely think im gonna become a xbox user after this. Its always something w/ sony. sheesh

I just got my used ps5. It dosent allow me to put in a disk. But if pulled the plugged and back in after 30min it works. But if i Eject disc and ps5 spits it out and dosent hold it so i can grab it. And then i hear it "spinning" like it ejecting disc. Afterwards i cant put in a disc. Its "locked".
