I don’t quite understand your question. Do you mean seal it after you crimp it
@tripplebeards34279 күн бұрын
Sweet! I bought a vintage craftsman press for $8 at a thrift store that clamps a drill in place. It works great but I have to mess with getting the drill level. I have a 4 pin roller. Works great on my 10 gauge loads.
@maxxbear50145 күн бұрын
I also load 10 gauge I think my roll crimper is from precision. I think it only has two pins but it works great. I’ve seen those clamp on drills I think it should work pretty good

@@maxxbear5014 yeah it works awesome for a seven dollar used press. I like yours better though it’s pretty fancy.

Looks good. Have to remember the mini drill press when I go shopping. 👍 Is anyone making the 4-pin crimp now that TRN stopped carrying it? The hull vice is discontinued too. Saw some of those on Amazon though.

I'm surprised that you didn't go with duellies ?
@maxxbear5014Ай бұрын
Hey, how are you doing? Yeah, I was going to go with Duellies but I would’ve needed a spacer so they didn’t hit the brake caliper then I would’ve needed different Lugnuts these tires are a little hard to get. They are only made by two manufacturers but I’m only hauling my jeep so I think they’ll work OK I do have another video coming out. I’m pretty far ahead on it now.

How low, from the bottow plate, can it come down? Would be interested to know if it can get low enough to crimp 2" shortshells. Disreguard. Demonstrated the solution @6:30.

Do you recall the final spacer thickness you ended up with between the tub and the frame? I want to make my one. Also how hard were the spacers? Like a rubber tire or more like the sole of a rubber shoe? Thanks.

5/8”. They were made of Delran. It’s a hard plastic type material. It was on the softer side of the Delran scale. Thanks for watching a video.

Good stuff, i run a giessle super 42, h3 and braded spring in all my rigs. Doesn't matter if its big bore or small, pistol build or rifles. The h3 in an ar is just a beautiful thing, helps slow down the system and keeps it from beatin it to death so fast.

Is the Indianapolis ordinance barrel nut needed as well to put it together and is it welded into place there’s not many people talking on this kit. As well as the ejector do you need to purchase the ejector from them as well to go with their sa bolt?
@maxxbear50143 ай бұрын
If you have a parts kit then you get the Indianapolis ordinance kit. You should be able to put one together depending on the parts kit you got. I put this kit together and fired it only a couple times after all the work I wish I just would’ve bought a Glock 19 with the money I spent on the kit the trigger pull in so long you can’t get much rapidfire out of it. I feel it wasn’t a good investment. Just my opinion but I am not a reenactment guy or anything like that. Thanks for the questions.
@manyman98903 ай бұрын
Do you need the barrel nut for the sten mk2 parts kit as well? And is so how is it attached, it it welded or pinned. And if it’s pinned does the kit come with those pins?
@maxxbear50143 ай бұрын
The kit doesn’t come with the nut you possibly can cut it free
