This is easier than it sounds. They just divided it it into a bunch of steps to try to explain it to the the lowest common denominator public school graduate. It would've been better if they explained what they were doing first, instead of just saying, "Do this. Now, do this. Now do this."

Mesa is an excellent product that will also aid in recovery of any Herbicide injury to southern turf. I've used this product on Bermuda, Zoysia, and Fescue. It can be used successfully in hot weather as well and will not burn like other fertilizers.

Step 1: Buy a Scotts broadcast spreader. Step 2: Read and follow instructions on fertilizer bag / turn the spreader to the setting # noted on the bag. Step 3: Spread your darn fertilizer.
@MrDmullen36 жыл бұрын
I did that,My spreader ( Scotts DXL) calls 11 1/2 setting,for Milorganite Fert. for 2500 sq ft,two bags should do my yard. It will be more like 5 bags, 11 1/2 ,it pours out in no time flat . It's a brand new unit !
@fescuefreddy65294 жыл бұрын
That's why they don't want homeowners applying things to their own lawns. All spreader settings are starting points that's why they give you application rates also. This is so you can check your application and adjust were necessary...

If your spreading one of Lebanon turf timed release products with Mesa in it, that costs a lot per bag, you would have to be a millionaire to not do this calibration.
@wayneessar7489 Жыл бұрын
@@RLWelch876 I did not mean to confuse you DD. Let me say that another way, unless you wanted to waste your money or spend lots of time cutting turf that was growing very fast, knowing what amount of fertilizer is coming out of your spreader is important. If you are "a millionaire" then do as you wish.
@small-timegarden7 жыл бұрын
so does that mean that after urea application, that one should water over the urea fertilizer?
@LebanonTurfVideos7 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! Always water in fertilizer after application if it contains untreated urea. Otherwise it could cost you up 30% loss of nitrogen.

We have a supply of this where I work at Arbor-nomics. I've used this on a couple of my customer's Bermuda lawns and they stayed dark green for a good 8 weeks. Although, if the customer has poor watering habits, the results won't be nearly as ideal.
