I can't if the Colorado is saddle leather or nomad leather in cognac. Because the saddle leather doesn't come in different colours, the nomad leather does. This seems like more like saddle leather but at the same time it has a kind of sheen to it that seems more like the nomad leather.But the nomad leather seems more even in its colouring and grain. Either way, even though leather would look different form one another this one is really a lot lighter than the ones on their picture

I want to put a fpr 5.5 ultra flex nib on a twisbi go. If the plastic feed doesnt keep up what size ebonite feed should i buy

Thank you for this. Cult Pens in the UK have just announced this upcoming colour way and we were curious to see if it had been pre-launch reviewed yet, so thanks for the first we've seen. Just bought a TWSBI each back in April, myself a Diamond 580ALR in Sunset (golden metallic deep yellow, very sunny) which was a birthday gift from my wife together with the Pelikan Edelstein Ink of the Year 2024 in Golden Lapis, a very good combination and in the broad nib. My wife went for the TWSBI Eco in Royal Jade as she bought the Ferris Wheel Press and Fete Chinoise Chinese New Tiger 2022 Year ink in Sunlit Jade and daren't use it in one of her other pens, the childhood Platignum Varsity from the late 1970's and Papermate metal fountain pen (produced between 1982 to 1994) or her best pen, a Cross Chinese Zodiac pen with gold nib (£300 in 2012 from late mother). She's used to an Italic but never heard of such a thing as a 'stub italic' before, what on earth was that? Looking at it she could see the square edges were rounded off. As her handwriting incorporates some Italic aspects like with the correct 45°angle she was curious about a stub Italic too. The more calibre looks of the Royal Jade and a demonstrator barrel with a piston filler made it different enough to want to try it, and from April to August she's left it standing in a pot to see if it clogs and what happens to the particulates of 'gold' in the ink and nib feed. It settles in the reservoir and nib feed but rolling the barrel to disperse the particles then upending the pen to send ink into the feed, it writes well straight away. She's been very glad to see particulate ink behave so well in the 1.1 stub Italic nib. My particulate ink works equally well in the Broad nib I went for. We're both very pleased with the TWSBI Eco and Diamond 580ALR and will mention this one to some relatives who like black and green. Like this moodier option, mmm, maybe a bit... Dark Academia?

I have been using Pularys wallet for 3 years now and still good and works. The leather develop patina. IMHO, Pularys is better than Ekster. The fact that Ekster relies on an elastic band to hold the main card holder and backplate together is the decision factor for me. Not a fan, honestly. That elastic is bound to wear out over time. I was this close to hitting 'buy,' but the idea of a stretched-out band made me think twice. Pass for me.

Where is this pen made?

That is a nice pen, I have an original vac700 and when the vac700R came out I obtained one of those. I fell out with TWSBI when my 580 Rose packed up, the filler mechanism totally failed so I kept the cap and nib which is on my 580AL now. It gets some comments. This one though is very appealing especially if you like blues or maybe Teal inks. I have a bottle of Emerald of Chivor but fell out with the glitter so I syphoned the glitter off ( sacrilege I hear off some ) I have another Emerald of Chivor though. In my opinion the Vac TWSBIs handle particulate inks better. Maybe one of these will have to be liberated from PurePens into my collection. Thank You 🤔 Best wishes to everyone. 💙

I am conflicted! I have the iris, it is my favourite pen. I have several twsbi ecos, they are my favourite budget pens. I have several Diamond 580s, which do exhibit the famous TWSBI cracks in the resin, but I still love them. Just last week my vac mini fell apart along a long standing crack in the resin. I'm definitely doubting my choice of favourite pen now!

Just got mine today, very cheaply made pen. Torque fill is a gimmick. But worst of all is the nib. Complete garbage. Save your $70 and purchase a reputable pen instead. Nib has no tine gap, feed is not even close to being centered. Writes like a nail on a chalkboard. Junk!!😢

Thanks for this video. I'm really glad my wife didn't see what you did to that sink! As mentioned below, I found that isopropyl alcohol is somewhat effective at getting the ink off of skin. And as a new fountain pen user, using BSB taught me some wonderful lessons that are true for ALL pens. The first is to use gloves for any work involving touching the converter or the nib. Another lesson is to use a syringe for filling converters. Just my two cents.

I wish they would produce an inkvent without shimmer inks. I simply don't use or particularly like shimmer inks. But I like a lot of the colours!

I had a lot of fun with the Inkvent 2023 Purple Edition. Cinnabun and Sweet Dreams are my recurring favourites - the scents have grown on me as I’ve used them so much in my daily journaling, etc over the months since swatching and writing each day during Advent. Jacaranda, Rainbows End and Tinsel have been used a lot too in the last 5 months. I’ll be treating myself to a number of these larger bottles🎉🎈😘

The Ballograf Epoca are all over the place in Sweden, and they've been around since the stone age because they just work. I've seen Ballograf pens that's been lying in a drawer for 15+ years in a garage and they still work just fine. The factory near where i live use these pens both on the factory floor and the offices, just because it's a great allrounder. Also i really like the fact that the Epoca hasn't changed since the Jurassic era, you always know what you get and what you get is good 👍
