I will have to say, our Ninja is a bit different from yours, while blowing we could hear the water inside bubbling around. My husband had to flip the coffee maker while he was blowing to get the rest of everything out. But thank you so much! I haven't had iced coffee in days 😭

This worked for me -- a little. On a CP301 32 machine, the problem was that it would try to start, water supply reservoir was in place, water was full, displays were lit up, but after starting any cycle (including clean) there was no pump action, no noise, 5 seconds later the machine powered off and reset. On this model, you can't blow air through it -- at least not with your mouth, the layout of the machine is too awkward. So instead, I tried the rubber bulb of a turkey baster (without the tube). It was just the right size to line up with the water inlet. I had to push really hard to get air through the machine, but it worked. Problem is, it works for maybe one cycle and then the problem is back. Your idea will work for some people, and the turkey baster trick will push a lot more air if you carefully apply just the right pressure, but it looks like my Ninja is trash.

Cool idea. I have to try this. This is what’s currently going on with mines. Whenever I make a cup of coffee. Where you put your coffee grinds. That part fills up with water and it’s not coming out correctly very slowly. I’ll let you know if it helps

I wasn't able to get this method to resolve ER04. Shaking all the water out of the unit didn't remove the error. As soon as I plug the unit back in and turn it on, it displays 12:00 for a second, then goes to ER04 and stays there. Do you know what this error refers to exactly? I'm wondering if a sensor might be broken.

Hi dear , I have the same ninja as you . Before your fixed, did you see more steam than regular? I think I have the same issue , not happy asking for a high cup of coffee and receiving a small xpresso 😜

For a permanent fix, return it, don't waste any more time trying to fix. My ninja lasted 5 days!

Just thought I would chime in and let you know you saved me from punting this coffee maker. I unplugged/plugged to shake the machine in an attempt to dislodge any calcium build up which I did but the damn thing still continued to beep at me. After about 1hr and a half I decided to youtube this and found my life support. Obviously when I watched your video I instantly thought to myself why in F$%k didn't I think of that but thank God you did so thank you for making this video.

My ninja is leaking water from under the water tank. I push the tank down tight and it doesn't make a difference. I loose about 2 cups of water, but don't know where it goes, there is only a small amount of water on the counter. HELP.....

Mine is about to go in the trash. I don't understand why water flows thru it to clean it (I've cleaned it 3x now) but it will not brew. And I don't get the 5 beeps of death everyone talks about. it just sits there when I try to brew. I tried this blowing but no luck.
