Oh my you are a life saver Megan!!! Thank you so much for the instructions super simple and easy to follow. I was trying to make a SVG to cut out on my laser (I am a newbie to laser cutting) and couldn't get the letters to flow to cut out as one word instead of cutting out each letter individually, this was super helpful. Thank you so much! Great job!!!!!

Would you be adventurous and use a stencil on a window that’s 6 feet long and 18” wide? It’s beautiful with either technique

Thanks for this video. I have a design where the preserving the exact size is important. You don't mention anything about the sizing preservation in this process. Is there anyway to insure the size of the design in the svg ends up the same? Thank you.
@BeCraftyWithMegan4 ай бұрын
Once you convert to an SVG and load it into Cricut Design Space, you can resize it to any desired size. I hope that helps. Thank you

3mm Cotton Cord:amzn.to/2OqhlCR With the 3mm cord I use, each letter uses between 200-240 inches for color one and 130-150 inches in color two. If for some reason you run out of rope you can always tie on more. The letters are 4 inched long so the 5 none working cords need to be 4 inches plus the amount of extra you would like.

@BeCraftyWithMegan5 ай бұрын
How long do you leave it on? I use a very generous amount and leave it on for at least 30 minutes.

@@susanlivingston3075 you can reuse the Amor Etch. You can scrap it off and put it back in the container. Hope that helps!

The video was so helpful THANK YOU, but if i were to sell an SVG file i created and the pieces don't weld together... how does that work on the buyers side?
@BeCraftyWithMegan6 ай бұрын
I'm so glad this was helpful. When a buyer uploads an SVG file, it isn't welded together. This allows them to make changes if they want. If they are using a cricut, when they load the file into design space, they would select all and choose the option to weld before cutting. I hope that makes sense and answers your question. Thanks!

How does the paing hold up after being in a dishwasher?

I don’t have enough cord to make the project. Would it work if I substitute the cord for yarn?
@BeCraftyWithMegan7 ай бұрын
If you made this with yarn it would make the letter really small.
