So awesome to see you playing this! While you can play this as a roguelike sandbox and get infinite fun from it, if you play in Roleplay mode it becomes probably the best open world RPG ever created. The things you can do are mindboggling. The writing is also incredibly evocative and vivid - some of the best in gaming; and the world it creates through theatre of the mind is truly fantastic. I'm over 250 hours in and I have only scratched the surface. I'm being surprised and awed by stuff I've never seen before every time I play.

I'm late to this, but I appreciate you checking this out. Its nice when "gaming" channels actually check things out on all platforms, not just console or PC. I too sunk a lot of time into this game back in the day, and also fell off years ago. May just redownload on my Pixel and see whats up!

Reina, Haruka and Saya all get slapped in this game some writer must have really gotten into some latin soaps operas that game. I dont really recall any more slaps in this series. The side stories remain as unhinged as ever. 0 and kiwami 1 are peak of the series for its minigame variety, substories, visuals and combat system.

Still insane how lame the Mordern Warfare 2 and 3 remakes ended up being compared to this. MW2019started off strong and had potential and then 2 and 3 remake just ended up being boring and lacked bombastic moments for "realism"

They should have just done a kind of alternate universe story for this. Maybe Graves from the new games is in this version too and is the one who you fight at the end, after he made sure that Shepherd escaped. That way MW3 remastered could follow a different story. Frost and Delta would have been close to the same but Soap and Price would be trying to clear their names instead of hunting Makarov. I'm not saying it would be better by any means, but it would have thrown the audience off completely. Maybe it's the 'veteran' ending so not everyone is going to see it. 🤔

You can really feel a fixers hand in this game. Previous game features cut: binoculars, faction exist not much else, night vision, mutant parts seller booth exists no one there. I would speculate they used the last year to polish up what they had. Second half of the game is sparser from side content. I expect a cp2077 style patching to continue development for the next year+ .

27:00 citizen sleeper was one I had installed forever as well and I just finished it after years (?) of it sitting there. As soon as I started it, I was completely hooked. The writing is amazing and so beautiful, and every character is compelling, you just want to know more about everything and everyone

I was so pleasantly surprised by this game. I was expecting just a mediocre first person linear game, but this now slots into the original trilogy in my head canon.

Stalker 1 has amazing choices, and its excellent to replay. Its not really janky honestly, besides people you might save end up sitting in a fire, but i honestly think stalker 1 series has amazing stuff in it. So i have to disagree. I do think people should play it if they haven't. Then hit up metro 2033 (Note for stalker 2 your sound and visibility detection is apart of the compass)

The BG3 logo with Witcher III sound kills me everytime.

Day one patch fixes fixed alot of the issues tbh (difficulty note , stalker is the main difficulty people should play there first time, veteran thet spike it x2 or x3 i think , loot is better, money is more, pain is extra more, the stalking is always, because you dont want the enemy's to start the firefights, 😅)

I watched tomographic play all of stalker2, im playing stalker 1, vanilla, From my experience both games are amazing , i think i do prefer the old games tho of not repairable stuff and the constant tossing of your loot into random stashes, I got to garbage and been here for idk 12 hours in a constant firefight, at leat 200 people have died in the garbage zone, its so chaotic. 😅 I just wanted to keep the garbage from the bandits, not sure but i am starting to believe theres endless amount of them to take garbage back. Anywho hope you been doing good, hope you enjoy Stalker 2, I'm pre sure you know everything about stalker, but i do recommend downloading the thing tomographic was using to get 90-120 fps (Side note no fast travel go by foot everywhere youll get way more loot)
