The commandment of not taking the lord name in Vain seems to mean not to use" God " without heart, or lacking true belief of what you are saying. This is why that the times people talk about God, its disinteresting. They are actually breaking a commandment and saying things they don't mean. Example is how politicians will use God based language to get religious people to like them, not because they actually mean what they say. Thats all my theory

“The Marth Spot” part where people kept tech rolling in reminds me of the “take the throw” rule in street fighter: Rather not explode for _doing_ something else and just hope _you_ do something else

I knew borp would be good at ultimate from the way he plays melee, this game was basically made for him

I know I'm 7 years late to this but man, this video is super relatable. I absolutely loved exploring games just like this when I was a kid! Finding little things that weren't meant to be seen was something I greatly enjoyed. One personal example I remember particularly well: I was playing around with Action Replay codes on Metroid Prime once when I was a kid and I used the Moon Jump code to explore parts of the environment I normally wouldn't be able to. I eventually moonjumped off the edge of the Artifact Temple where you would normally enter the Impact Crater, only to find out that the bottom of the crater below has collision you can walk on that you would never normally be able to use! I thought that was really neat. Even now, I love when games actively play into that sense of purely curiosity-driven exploration, like Yume Nikki and B3313, for example.

Hey, Borp. Do you still have the other borp tactics video? That was mine and my friends favorite combo video. The one set to “brighter than the sun”. If it was taken down due to copyright or something, Is there any way I could just get a copy of it?

i see you put thought into everything here, i just want to point out something that may seem minor but which i absolutely appreciate is the quick slides at the end, not dragging it out as you know most people pause to read this, and if you drag it out, you'll just make us wait after we unpause. very nice editing, fitting music and epic clips!

you've got a new big fan, not just from the gameplay, but your philosophy articles, awesome stuff (also big fan of your brother as well), have you ever read the tao te ching, or the hua hu ching? very good texts by Lao Tzu.

Thank you Matt. It still makes me happy whenever I think about when you asked me about, “One can mistrust one’s own senses, but not one’s own belief. If there were a verb meaning ‘to believe falsely’, it wouldn’t have any significant use in the first-person present tense.”
