I have a confession - i saw the title of the video and was going to ramble on about how you shouldn't be doing the same old blues crap on this guitar. But you didn't do that. This is brilliant and suits the guitar perfectly. Awesome.

I feel the guild was a little muddy, with some of the strumming (early part of the video). Perhaps it was over powered a bit. Definitely had a lot more bass. The GS seemed a bit clearer with better tonal separation of the base, mid and treble. I feel like the guild is more designed as a finger picking guitar because it seems to shine in those parts of the video. The GS seems a little more versatile. I'd love to see a comparison to the OM120. From what I heard its is a bit better (harder to overpower) when using a pick.

I just bought one and it’s my first electric in a decade! I’m stoked to play fingerstyle slide blues on it and surf rock riffs. I like this too

I think the Taylor’s strings are less squeaky. I thought for strumming the Taylor was much better but then on fingering I thought the Guild was better. I wonder if changing the strings on the Guild would help it when strumming. Or vice versa.
@FlorianMalevilleАй бұрын
For information, it was Elixir strings in 11-52 for the Taylor and D'addario strings for the Guild in 11-52 too.

Bonjour, super guitare ! Vous connaissez ses caractéristiques ? Laminé, solide etc …
@FlorianMalevilleАй бұрын

Great tone ...just like an aged vintage Morris will always sound.

Damn I love that color! Too bad this color isn’t available anymore. I wanted to buy one when they came out but didn’t have the cash at the time.

A reluctant thumbs up as no saws were use in this video. joking. The first time I saw someone play the saw was in Portland, Oregon. The name of the band was Horse Feathers. I will check out more of Florian Maleville. Thanks for sharing.
