I've never seen anyone actually play planechase with individual planar decks. It's always just a communal deck for the commander pod.

Ben is smart man I’d rather play Canadian highlander vs cedh but because it’s hard for store to run events as there isn’t the more interest and proxy are usually not allow at stores it’s quite hard to play

I think some would but not all. One of the biggest pulls to cEDH is the multi player nature. Now if we made a multiplayer canlander, that would be the ideal cEDH guideline.

Your Oathbreaker can only be either a Planeswalker or some card that has the "can be your commander" text.

Its funny because the Derevi deck i love piloting is just a counters matter deck with a sub theme of tapping creatures. It isnt cEDH at all, but it's pretty fun to tap my opponent's creatures while i swing in with my big ones and still have mana left for interaction.

1:22 I beat it with a mono white deck after attacking them with 50 damage milling their entire deck because they had an angel of suffering then simply exiling their entire graveyard leading to them conceding, this was after the one card preventing their combo was destroyed, unfortunately I didn't win since the last 2 players realized I was a problem and killed me shortly after :(
