Why is the handle on this rod sooo long. You have to work these rods away from your body to pitch all day, and it’s really tiring.

Have the stunner hd 8' XH on a saragosa 14000 for the beach. And headed to the store now for the stunner x 7'2M on my Spheros 8000 for live bait for snook/tarpon. Which aquafin in the 7'6 do you recommend for the stradic 3000 xg for small baits targeting mangrove snapper and peacock bass(when going FW)

Awesome rod. I love how Fitzgerald is moving into the inshore space by partnering with guys like CA. Your rods are great for fishing the flats here in Tampa Bay. Just wished there were options for all cork handles ( I’m an old school guy). Great work guys!

Trevor, CA is a fantastic addition to the Fitzgerald family... love when he fishes a baitcaster in saltwater... he's deadly accurate on the bow and even from the platform! Would the Aquadream 7'2 Medium Mod-Fast be a good substitute for the All Purpose 7'6 Medium Mod-Fast? I have the Aquadream paired with a Stradic C3000XG but I also have the TP C3000XG on a Salt Strong Slot Machine 7'6 Medium Fast that I could swap over to the Aquadream if it would be a better pairing.

What would you say is the minimum number of rods an average angler should own?

I typically take 4 rod/reel rigs with me, each for a specific application. 1. Topwater setup 2. Suspending twitch bait setup 3. Jerk/paddletail setup 4. Live bait setup. I take the first 3 because I don't feel like retying all the time when I want to try a different lure type and the 4th for bottom fishing in deeper water using live shrimp or mullet. The 4th rod/reel rig is a heavier rod and a larger reel series. Hope this helps. If you want, I can share exactly what my setups are and which scenario I use them.
