Last year I walked the West Highland Way. This year the Rob Roy Way, just returned from Scotland last Monday. The poem and the music describes perfect my feelings now... missing the Highlands. A Whisky and Beer on the Scottish Highlands. Sláinte!

I made a video showing chords ( my hearts in the highlands chords ). Basically am c g f with hammer on am. a slide up for which i cant give a name... but showen in vid... dont forget the Thanks bit. ps i had capo on 2nd fret.

Fear not Robert Burns, he is along time along time dead, but his poetical works live on. If you choose to google his name then you may learn something. Yet there is probably many others by the same name in this time. Block them, I should advise.

I read this poem in my School days .... At that time a film I saw ' The Journey to the Center of the Earth ' ...... This song was there and most probably it was sung by Pat Boon. ...... I saw it in the Fifties. .....
