Imagine game freak decided to make the Scarlet version of area 0 a thick prehistoric jungle filled with fossil pokemon instead of just more of the freaking same! This was the finale of the most recent game of the highest grossing media franchise. This area deserved better.

I don't know if a lot of people would agree with me, but this specific Ganondorf left the biggest impression on me. Like... making you fight Zelda was nuts. Then Ganon form's boss theme was insane and feral. Then ANOTHER phase with the light arrows fighting him ON HORSEBACK, which was annoying as heck but epic. And then he just takes a fat dump on the fused shadow, the thing that you literally spend the entire game trying to collect. The absolute best part is the sword fight. This dude pulls out the sword that the sages tried to murder him with, squares up with you and just... walks at you. Nice and slow. He is so confident in his power that he is in no rush to get to you. He doesn't need to take you by surprise, or blitz you. He just slowly approaches you, menacingly. At the time, there was no other boss battle that left such a huge impression on me other than Metroid Prime's final boss.

It also made this iteration of Link seem like an absolute beast to actually overpower Ganondorf in a sword clash with nothing but just piss and vinegar in his veins. Twilight Princess's Link had to be doping, the dude's feats of strength were just insane. Ganondorf's like 7'0" 300lbs of muscle and has the Triforce of Power, and Link manages to overpower him, like, three times. Only Breath of the Wild's Link really beats out TP Link in the sheer "what the hell is this guy" factor.

I keep coming back to your music and this rendition always strikes a chord with me. It is the epitome of that sense of adventure that the original Pokemon tracks in 1996 captured so well. It's simply breathtaking.
