IMHO, I believe that the JM Solo Tour was meant to be a safe space with his fans. John gave us an intimate performance where he could express himself each night a bit differently than the night before. It was special and I believe that he was singing the lyrics from his heart and not trying to reproduce each word exactly as it was recorded in the studio. 🙂
