Roger got nerve to say that Ross was a true snake for his deep throat cuts in the courtroom . .Yet Ross couldn't hold a candle 🕯️ to Roger. Ross mellowed out when he met Carrie Todd the woman wirh split personalities...And even moreso when he met and fell in love with Blake BKA Christina. Roger's daughter...

This makes me sad. There's only 4 daytime soap operas, and they're barely hanging on. Barely funded, too. A seasoned daytime actor could make millions if they stayed with his or her show, especially Emmy winners. Robin Strasser is daytime royalty from originating the role of Rachel on another world and found her home on both all my children and especially as Doctor Dorian Lord on OLTL which she got no respect from show producers for being a fan favorite. Daytime needs to be daytime television again. Having just 4 shows when there use to be 10. Not to mention the social topics. If Spanish soaps are still popular, I refuse to believe that daytime can't be.

CBS should stream this show and start from 1980 or whatever early year they can start from until the end.

Roger Thorpe my favorite villain, sadly I didn't get to watch GL until around the mid 80's, it was good back then. CBS needs to put GL on streaming even if they start from the 80's to the end.

Remember the Xmas Special around 1996 and he and Dinah #3 played by Wendy Moniz were together and she kissed him and he had this disgusted look on his face. He wanted to be at The Bauers and most of all with Holly, Blake and even Ross. All he thought of on Xmas Day that year was Holly.

Also when they did this Documentary, I think that Maureen Garrett started living with her Ex Wife Janet. I heard that they broke up. I would love for there to be a Documentary titled. I am a soap actor/actress and I am Gay. In the UK it's a natural thing. Actors/Actresses from Coronation Street, Eastenders, Emmerdale, and Hollyoaks have actors/actresses who are gay in real life.

Very few people know how much of a huge fan I am of Guilding Light. I started watching around 1983-1999. I’m a huge Roger Thorpe fan. It was good to see this scene to know how the drama started. Excellent acting by all.

I just realized that out of all of the Families on The Four soaps on the air, only the Hortons are the only original Family. On Eastenders it's the Fowlers & Beales where Pete Beale marries a woman named Kathy, who gives birth to their Son Ian at 16, and has a Fraternal Twin Sister named Pauline who marries a man named Arthur Fowler.

The Scene where Julie Conrad Bauer was having her baby girl Hope was featured in The Help, and Alison Janey was on the show in the 1990's as Ginger a maid. Cicely Tyson who played Constantine was also in the show in the 1960's. Guiding Light always had the midas touch for casting african american Actors.

I thought the mark/Jennifer/Amanda story was great. Wished it could have been written as Marland had intended. The same with the Carrie Story. Sucked when Jane was fired. GL missed a huge opportunity by not put Sara and Justin together. Man what could have been. So sad it ended the way it did.
