Have you had a problem with the beeping like the water is saying EEE blinking off and on
@BombShotАй бұрын
Well, I know a way you can get dinner and not have the chickens waste seed... jkjk I'd imagine if you used something like a tarp or something under it you could scoop up the seed and put it back in the feeder. That's something I've seen a couple of people who aren't full time farmers do and they say it works okayish.
@larryparish5984Ай бұрын
Place your feeder in a hot water heater catch pan that goes under a water heater.
@nator998Ай бұрын
Grew up raising chickens, we only ever put the feeders in their house, slightly more elevated as well. They are amazing scavengers and their diet should be high protein actually, so they mostly eat bugs and greens when outside. Occasional high calcium scratch or just grain corn is good to sprinkle outside in moderation too

Any suggestions as to which org is the best one to donate funds to that will actually get needed items to the people? Want to help people like you, not send money to large conglomerate fundraisers where only a small % gets to you.

@prettyflyforawifi2 ай бұрын
I would disagree. There's plenty of very hard working people who are dealing with so many things and making ends meet that preparing for the worst case scenario isn't a priority.
@johnnieredwine86632 ай бұрын
@prettyflyforawifi well miss pretty in all my years I've always prepared for the worst and fall to my knees and thank the goddess and the heavens that the worst didn't come... then if by some off chance the worst happens I am prepared for it, so when it doesn't happen I'm actually a couple steps ahead of the game .. I'm just saying that's how me and the old ladies in Florida do it

hello how do you go about getting a humidity level between 50/60% I haven't yet found the perfect dose with the 100ml dispenser I get to 70% and when I my 30ml gets 68% and it rings quite often My question, how do you do it?
@reaganskopp7 ай бұрын
Apologies but I can’t really help you. I dry hatch so I just refill humidity when it drops low and don’t focus on a constant level. I do cover how to stop the beeping in the video and I use a separate thermometer/hygrometer.

@robertharris46617 ай бұрын
@@reaganskopp not a bid deal with that but there’s a wire that goes through a hole and some white comnector. That cant go through to take the plate off. So it just hangs by that wire. Hard to clean without another person holding that plate.

How you set up for chicken eggs, I have similar and beeps other time.
@davidapp37308 ай бұрын
Thank you great video. If I understand you correctly you need to change the temperature settings for the last 3 days when the eggs are taken out of the turner and set on the hatch floor?
@bambibratsch79088 ай бұрын
I love watching KZbin videos that actually show you how to figure something out. I was about to throw this incubator in the garbage. I still don't like this incubator for lockdown. The bottom is plastic, and they slip and slide when they try to get up and the fan dries out the eggs, so we had to modify it. Thanks for helping us out with the settings!
@reaganskopp8 ай бұрын
Awe thanks. It’s honestly not the incubator I use nowadays. Which is why this isn’t a recommendation video. But I did successfully use it to hatch multiple batches after lots of trial and error which is why I made the video. I actually got another ‘cheap’ incubator off Amazon that is in the other video I use now. Much better design.

Sorry, I know you said it’s better to use a second thermometer but what are the temperatures you have set up on the incubator? The humidity level and the Celsius? And also what is the name of the thermometer.
@reaganskopp8 ай бұрын
I use this blue tooth thermometer amzn.to/4czfYe6 I go for 99.5° F (it can vary 99-102 is still fine) and the humidity I start at 60 ish then I don’t add water till is down to like 15-20. Repeat till day 18 or 19 and then raise the humidity to 60 for hatching (when I take out the turner). DO not open until everyone has hatched once you do that final raise.
