Excellent sermon! I'm a newcomer to this pastor and have not yet attended a service at this church (just moved to Murrieta last week). A well balanced presentation here with many insightful and applicable points. Many of us have been in churches who practice multiple forms of spiritual abuse. This type of sermon provides the corrective for that. Servant-leadership and mutual submission under the ultimate authority of Christ who is the head of the church. Amen bro! I gotta get to this church! 🙂

I think this guy is wrong on a few major points. The sinful nature and sanctification are not as explained here. Calvinism is not Bible and is only proven by awful proof texting. This guy actually said God created you evil. If God created evil, he is evil. God created you good, Satan tempted you and you became guilty. If this man's logic is followed, God is the greatest cause of evil in the universe. Wrong!

Don't see the difference in if I sin God strikes us down or if we sin the law he created for sin strikes us down, next if God is happy with Us and we are made right through Jesus works, why do we still struggle and sometimes fall and bad and then the law of sin is going to reward us and then joy and peace is lost, it seems the legalist have a point, God can do everything yes, but at the end of the day if we sin it can strike us down
