I recommend doing yoga everyday, 10-15 minutes everyday is fine. As it helps elongate your spine, and it makes your shoulders more longer. I noticed a drastic difference in my outfits and they looked much better, considered how much I thought my upper torso/shoulders looked bad. Plus it helps with sleep and memory.😂💕

Hopefully another android user will come along soon to help you out. For now I recommend finding a replacement form of entertainment that you'll turn to like sketching, listening to music or reading and have it set up and ready to go. When you feel yourself reaching for youtube, go do that instead!

This is the video I needed. I completely agree, KZbin IS social media. I have deleted all other social media years ago but kept youtube. But now I quit. Your videos have this authentic feeling to them that other channels lack. It makes me feel like you are truly trying to educate the people and not looking for clicks. One concept I think about is: Don't complain your life is boring while you watch social media. Because when you watch social media, you are watching what other people are experiencing, Instead, Go out, delete social media and live those experiences. It is great that you are doing this. We need more women role models in this world. we have too many girls LIVE on social media and they are bland as the wall in real life. I hope your message spreads further. We have Hamza, and now we have you!

Came to check in on this video and I appreciate your comment. Always love to share my thoughts so that I can hear other people’s opinions too. I think the temptation to be very animated ALL THE TIME on KZbin is always there but I think it’s best to put forward the way you actually feel at the time of filming.

I liked that video. I do think it is a bit more confident than that, however being a professional really requires time and efforts. And lack of those things cannot be simplified and said that it is "imposter syndrome". However, the more confident you feel, the easier you learn. That's how i see it. Therefore, if you lack confidence, it can take you forever to actually feel like you're good at what you're doing
@Demeraaa9 ай бұрын
It’s difficult because when you learn it builds confidence but you often need confidence to start learning. Symbiotic relationship. I definitely encourage learning to build confidence, even in private at first if you have to!

Thank you so f-ing much. I just moved countries and I’m so so self aware but comforting myself isn’t going to work. Going out and practicing a whole other language is. It’s exactly what I needed to hear. Also seriously feel that acting story… when I was younger I gave it my all, and I’m been working on acting as a craft for years but I’ve never been an actress, I pulled back the second I got to an age of self-consciousness and it’s never been the same. Still I crave that feeling of absolutely blacking out on stage as I be a different person. Cause that’s how my best performance feel and it’s been a long time. Thank you fr. I’ve never meant it so much.

You can do it, it’s gonna take failing, a lot, publicly. The same is true for all of us but if we can push through the discomfort of making a repeated effort, there’s always a reward 🫶🏾

Even in a crowd, just make sure you stick with your friends at all times and well away from anyone or any group that overly stares. I was looking to compare this event to what it used to be, with multiple tabs open, and after you said 'who wants to be a kid in a buggy' the screen showed exactly that, looking rather sad, lol (1995 notting hill carnival dancers voxpops, 15s in). The guy in the second half must be well known, as he's perhaps just a little too excited. I think it may end up ticket based event with the dancing on stage. I think the 1990s was a turning point when it came to worrying less about being modest, but that was arguably a reflection and or influenced by many arts (esp US pop culture). It's hard to work out the exact turning point, given the media of old in the 70s and 80s (bar the coverage of violence) may have been rather modest itself when it came to what they'd want to show the public on tv. Regardless of what people tell each other, I also think objectification is worse now compared to twenty years ago. On top of the evolution of pop culture, we now have a decade of growing up on the internet, where males (of any age with a phone) have access to literally anything and everything they wish. The most viewed material online is the objectification of women. Adult material. There will be a huge change when it comes to the mindset of the last generation. People either grow up conditioned on that material, treating others as objects in real life, or bullied or the bully on social media. A platform where egotistic behaviour is rewarded by the loudest or outspoken, who gather a following with a herd mindset. This may lead to hypersensitive adults. In the end, the changes with the carnival come down to imported pop influence, esp the US, a country where there are forever changing trends, and forever widening passionate, political beliefs over what is right and wrong regarding ethics and morality. Together with the internet to amplify those issues and export them at a lightning pace, and corporations who will pretend they care or just mirror the most popular influencers in order to boost reputations, the big question is where that country is heading, along with those that are most easily influenced by it
@Demeraaa10 ай бұрын
Yes the turning point is so difficult to find and I’m spoilt now in terms of documentation so it’s not as easy to compare what was really going on in the 70s/80s/90s - now. People seem to share the sentiment that the sexualisation is from America, I really don’t know but wherever it’s from I definitely don’t think it’s making a net positive influence !

@clifffor117910 ай бұрын
Well articulated. Seems the Carrabean influence on our country is less and less American culture seems to be more dominant. The Carnival keeps the interest in Carrabean culture and the community going but it's getting less like the old Carnivals. You are right culture is fluid and as we have multi cultures in London and the UK so it's inevitable that things change. I don't go anymore it's too crowded for me. I wouldn't want it to be cancelled. There would be a huge loss to the country if we lost Notting Hill Carnival. I will fight to keep it going even though I don't go anymore.
